Meet Mandy Hailpern | Personal Chef & Caterer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Mandy Hailpern and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mandy, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
Aligning with a community that supports me doing what I do best. COOKING CATERING & CONNECTING

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Mandy’s Kitchen began as an extension of my heart and my intense desire to show love to others through food!

My specialty is delicious cuisine created with ingenuity and passion. I takes great pride in improving upon your favorite dishes in new and creative ways. I pay special attention to specialty needs, vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and allergy-sensitive eaters

I became a sales representative of the multi-level marketing company, Pampered Chef but simply owning the “hardware” and selling it to others wasn’t enough, even working with the tools to create, bake, and cook delish dishes; even making use of a growing product line of recipes, seasonings, and sauces wasn’t enough!

The more I instructed others in the art, and worked side-by-side in her customer’s kitchens, the more I saw a demand – an actual need – for help. Not just in the formulation of everyday household menus but the organization of client kitchens as well. They clamored for better and easier preparation methods, and common sense layouts of storage cabinets, pantries, refrigerators and freezers.

Mandy’s Kitchen was born.

As work progressed, another necessary facet of service became obvious…I began offering ON-THE-GO-JARS, on-site meal planning, preparation and freezing for busy clients and often grocery shopping as well. Business boomed and more extensive personal chef duties were requested. Catering intimate parties and special occasions became popular too.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I don’t go out much but I do love to cook for others and have a wonderful PATIO where I often invite guests to have brunch/lunch/dinner personally prepared by myself. I have a hottub for relaxing and close to most city activites should they want to explore. I aspire to have a BED& BREAKFAST sort of location one day to fully pamper my guests onsite. Staycations are the best.
