Meet Marco Cisneros | Photographer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Marco Cisneros and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Marco, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
After working in the same industry for almost 8 years I realized I wasn’t enjoying my time and days I found myself constantly stressed and unhappy so I decided to pursue my photography passion full time

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
It is easy nowadays to take your phone out that has multiple cameras and take “good” pictures that’s why nowadays it’s even harder to stand apart specially in a world where social media is controlled by sex appeal as they say sex sales . I have worked to stand apart from all that , use color and mood to make people feel a certain way

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
In Fort Collins there’s a lot to visit . I would definitely have to take them to get some wings at jims wings best wings in town or even the country . I would also visit the lyric cinema for some live music , beer and a movie . Can’t say You visited Foco without strolling old town during the day through all its shops and at night doing some bar hopping

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
When it comes to my creativity and courage to do this full time I would have to say my mom was a huge inspiration and supporter from the beginning. I also found inspiration in other artist such as Derrick Freske or David lachapelle
