We had the good fortune of connecting with Mason Law and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mason, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Starting my own business was a dream I’ve had for ever. I never knew what I
wanted to do, but when I moved to
Colorado I saw the beautiful scenery
that is a short drive away! I saw how much this made we want to walk the trails, explore farther, and take pictures. I hope to inspire others, to live life and go experience what the world for has to offer for them!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Most of my work consists of hiking out to new places, and trying to find some crazy natural formations to view and share to the world. I love to try and get out to new remote places where few people go, seeing some formations others rarely see. Hiking is the main challenge of the trips that I take, importantly staying on trials and not damaging any kind of plants or formations, being sure to be extra careful when I hike to new places as to not disturb the natural ecosystems! Starting off was tough, having a very small audience that was interested in any of the photos I share to the world, still having difficulty to find an audience, my small business has slowly started to grow! I would love for my small business to one day take off and grow bigger, but for now I just want the world to know that living life exploring, experiencing new sites, and challenges to face is an amazing way to live and would highly suggest to get out and visit national parks around you to see the true beauty of nature!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
The top place I’ve been to so far is definitely Moab Utah, being a short drive alway from Grand Junction it would definitely be the first place to go! Moab is a very beautiful area, having Arches National Park right down the street from the little town ran by many family business! The place I would highly suggest if you are around town for the day is definitely and want a place to sit and drink or get lunch is The Ware House, having good food, drinks, and a great atmosphere to be in! Throughout Grand Junction area you can find many great places to eat, hike, and fish. Some of the best hikes around Grand Junction, that are easier for beginners are definitely the Palisade Rim Walk, The Devil’s kitchen walk, and The Mica Mine trails.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My biggest inspirations in starting off were definitely a couple life long friends, Rocco and Sophia! They both inspired me to share my photos that I took, to show what life is really about, exploring and experiencing nature’s beauty!
