Meet Megan DeLaRosa | Owner & Publisher

We had the good fortune of connecting with Megan DeLaRosa and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Megan, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I came from the real estate and title insurance world, working as a Title Rep. In that role, I taught Realtors how to brand themselves, market effectively, and connect with their local communities through direct mail. But I realized I couldn’t just tell people how to build their presence—I needed to show them. So, I jumped in—and quickly became consumed with my community, HOA Board, Social Committee, Coach mom.
When my son was diagnosed with autism, everything shifted. You’re handed a diagnosis, a stack of resources, and then expected to just figure it out. I dove in headfirst and found an incredible network of parents, organizations, and support—but I also realized how much noise there is in the world. We’ve become so overstimulated and busy that we’ve lost touch with our communities. The real, face-to-face, heart-to-heart connection? It’s rare—and I knew I wanted to change that.
I realized there was a gap — something more personal was missing. Big box marketing didn’t have the heart or the impact small businesses needed. That’s when I decided to take everything I learned, combine it with my love for community, and create something different — something that truly connects people where they live, work, and play.
I wanted to make a real impact. I’ve always been a natural connector, constantly networking, constantly dreaming about something bigger. I hit this point where I didn’t know what I wanted to be when I “grew up.” So I explored it all—seminars, insurance licenses, nonprofit work, event planning—and finally stumbled across a job posting for a City Lifestyle Publisher. It was like the clouds parted. It brought everything I loved into one space: storytelling, community building, small business support, creativity, and impact.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
This Isn’t Just a Magazine. It’s a Movement. Centennial City Lifestyle isn’t just a magazine—it’s a platform built on purpose.
While there are plenty of magazines out there—including other City Lifestyle publications—I wanted to take this incredible brand and push it to the next level. This isn’t just about print or digital marketing. It’s about connection—real, intentional, and lasting.
Yes, every City Lifestyle magazine focuses on community. But I was blessed to land Centennial. It’s a hidden gem—a vibrant, affluent, often-overlooked area that deserves more recognition, more love, and deeper connection. What sets us apart is how deeply rooted we are in the heart of it all.
Anyone can run ads or publish stories. That’s easy. What I care about is what truly builds community: the people, the businesses, and the networks that bring it all together. When I partner with someone, I’m invested. I want to know your story, your goals, and what you’re building—not just as a brand, but as a part of this community. I don’t ask, “What do you want to advertise?” I ask, “What do you want from this?” Then we create a strategy that supports your vision with purpose.
We shine a light on local restaurants, nonprofits, small businesses, and families that give this city its soul. That’s the secret sauce. That’s why this is more than a magazine—it’s a movement.
To bring that movement beyond the page, I started hosting monthly happy hours. We spotlight local restaurants and bring together our readers, advertising partners, and surrounding businesses for casual, meaningful connection. It’s fun, collaborative, and community-driven—just like the magazine.
The hardest part? The beginning. Starting something new is lonely. You walk in with a bold idea and a big vision, and not everyone sees it. People doubt it. Question it. But then… the ripple effect begins. You make waves. And that’s when people start to pay attention.
That’s also when I found my powerhouse partner, Danielle VonFeldt. She joined as our Publication Director and quickly became part of the heartbeat of this brand. Her creativity, strategy, and refusal to do things the “typical way” have helped elevate this magazine into what it is today. We’re not just publishing—we’re leading a movement.
As a new business owner, I’ve made mistakes. I’ve cried. I’m still learning—sometimes the hard way. I may have manifested this, but let’s be real—I’ve worked my ass off to make it happen. And I’m not done.
I’m building a brand rooted in how we make people feel. A brand that makes people feel seen, connected, and part of something.
Because you can’t sit back and hope people find you. You have to show up, stand out, and be impossible to ignore.
This isn’t just advertising. This is impact.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Day 1 – Welcome Vibes & Wine Time
We’d kick things off with a workout at Rocky Mountain Strength, The crew is welcoming!! then brunch at Urban Egg—their avocado toast and fresh juice are everything. After that, we’d stroll Centennial Center Park and scope out the soon-to-be splash pad. The day ends on the patio at Ladrón Cellars Where Owner Richard shares his expertise on all wines—wine, sunset, and perfect vibes.
Day 2 – SouthGlenn Style
Shopping and strolling through The Streets at SouthGlenn, popping into T is for Table, Carla’s A Classic Design, and other favorites. We’d check out the local art scene at Sosu and The Artworks, then hit Curate Mercantile. Drinks at Social Bar and a movie to wrap the night.
Day 3 – Adventure Mode
Morning lift at Infamous Physique, then we go full-throttle—either Topgolf or Colorado Kart Circuit, depending on the mood. We’d end the day at Sporty Pickle for happy hour and Pickle Bar fun. Yes we will try this together!
Day 4 – Self-Care + Beauty Boost
Spin it out at CycleBar DTC, smoothies from Pure Blends, then off to Vince for a fresh nail set and Eden Health Spa for diamond facials. Finish strong with mocktails or cocktails at Rouge Wine & Bourbon Bar. Beauty, boosted.
Day 5 – Local Love & Connection
First stop: K4CO Radio with Josh and Sarah—we’ll chat all about our Centennial City Lifestyle Happy Hours and everything happening locally. Then it’s time to show up for the actual happy hour—May’s spot: Uncorked Kitchen & Wine Bar. Amazing people, good food, real community.
Day 6 – Wellness + Recharge
Today is about slowing down and recharging. We’d start with IV nutrition therapy, followed by a relaxing massage at The NOW. Maybe a little Botox freshen-up at BeFab with Olga if the mood strikes. A true “treat yourself” day, Centennial-style.
Day 7 – Reflect & Reset
We’d grab coffee from Milano or Black Rock, then take a walk along High Line Canal Trail to soak it all in. To close the trip, we’d head to Cencalli Taqueria in Downtown Littleton for authentic eats and a final cheers to a week well spent and say hi to Zoe!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
A huge part of life is realizing that everyone you meet is connected to your growth—you just have to find the connection. Each person carries energy that can help create something within you—confidence, perspective, or purpose.
There are honestly too many people who’ve touched my life and inspired me along the way. I never take that for granted. Every person has reminded me—directly or indirectly—to keep going, keep showing up, and never give up.
First, always, my parents. They taught me to show up and work hard—even if you don’t love what you’re doing—because that work ethic will eventually lead you to what you do love. Their grit became mine.
To my kids—Micaela, Justin, and Gavin—you are my why. When you feel like stopping, you can’t… because someone is always watching. You remind me daily that the hardest things are often the most rewarding.
Danielle Vonfeldt- My publication director. My powerhouse partner! I swear I manifested her. She is the glue behind my craziness and extremely powerful and strong. Her energy helps keep me grounded and in control.
Lon Welsh, my former boss, is a brilliant investor and business mind—he commands a room with his intelligence and drive. He taught me the power of discernment: knowing when something isn’t worth investing in and when to walk away, but also recognizing the value of investing in the right people. Bringing people together where we all can learn from one another. That lesson has shaped the way I lead, build relationships, and grow my business.
Debra Williams, my title closer, taught me to listen before speaking—and to never let anyone push you around. That kind of grounded strength stays with you.
As for me—I’ve been shaped by so many people, and I’m still learning every single day. But if there’s one thing I know for sure, it’s this: don’t change who you are to fit the world. Just keep being you—and keep showing up. Be impossible to ignore.
