We had the good fortune of connecting with Michelle Roark and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Michelle, how do you think about risk?
I was a professional athlete for 18 years competing on the World Cup circuit in FreeStyle Mogul Skiing Taking risk was the job description. It made one not afraid to fail, to know how to fall down and get back up and how to put yourself out there.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am the owner and creator of Phia Lab – Inspired by Sport, Supercharged by Nature and Scientifically Verified.

We make natural body products that are a delivery system for our unique quantum nutrition. We help people all over the world with their health and wellness.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
When friends or clients come to Denver I like to take them to Wonderyard or Ophelia’s for dinner. I also love the Botanical Gardens for lunch and of course the mountains anytime. I love to mountain bike and hike in Winter Park and Vail in the summer and ski in the winter.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I am very spiritual. I have many friends and supporters in high places that I am extremely grateful for. I am also extreemly grateful for Christopher Thompson my COO and my two magical children.
