We had the good fortune of connecting with Michelle Tripp and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
HipCat Media is a boutique public relations and marketing agency based in Parker. I am most proud of my work with my clients, the work they do, and the successes that have come along with it. I started in 2018 doing side work for a few smaller clients, then when the pandemic hit, and my position with an international company was made redundant, I went full-time into HipCat Media. It wasn’t always easy, but it is definitely worth it. It helps me balance family and career, and gives me the flexibility to work in several industries.
I’ve learned that if you truly want something, you have to change your mindset and lean into everything on many different levels — physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual — to succeed.
It’s simple. You have a story to tell. We help you tell it. Our approach is a bit unconventional compared to other integrated communications agencies, but we like it that way. Our collective of digital storytellers, marketers, communicators, and strategists come together to tell your story in ways that help you effectively connect and interact with your audience and drive results.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Let’s see, where do I even start? If we’re staying in and around Denver, I would of course have them come down to Downtown Parker and check out West Main Taphouse, Black Haus Tavern, and then also Fika for coffee. Then we would head to the incline in Castle Rock and do a couple of loops on the incline and the trails around the incline. Stop back into Castle Rock and walk around downtown and have a quick snack at the coffee shop run by Wellspring Community.
My family and I love to eat, so a lot of the day would be spent on food!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to thank my husband, John for always believing in me, pushing me, and showing me that it’s not always easy. Although I sometimes didn’t like what he said (because it was the cold hard truth) I appreciate his honesty and his passion for what I do. He is my biggest cheerleader and biggest supporter, and I couldn’t be more proud to be his wife.
