We had the good fortune of connecting with NANCY VAHLING and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi NANCY, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The thought process behind starting my own psychic business was not really a thought at all, it was a grateful falling into. I had been teaching yoga and started reading some oracle cards occasionally for anyone that would let me. It has just taken off as a business from there and I couldn’t be more thankful to my clients and the universe for letting me do something I love. I adore sitting with people, talking about their stories and looking into the future. Imagine Akasha means looking into the future and imagining the best possible outcome.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Because of the pandemic I was able to create my own Oracle Deck of cards, I have been using them exclusively to do my readings. I hope to finish the book that goes with them and get packaged to sell and teach intuitive classes with. I am constantly learning new tools for my tool box, like Astral Projection and Out of Body Experience, new and exciting Meditation and yoga postures to wake up the intuition we all carry. I am proud of how this business is constantly evolving and the people who help to keep my business stay afloat.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I am fortunate to have my best friend close we meet for yoga all the time at CorePower Yoga wether taking my class or someone else’s we both love to sweat! If we have nothing to do we go to Sugar Bake Shop next door and grab a homemade pop•tart and a coffee. Shopping at Cherry Creek after would be fun, kinda like when we were teenagers. I haven’t had a whole day with my best friend since we were teens, much less a week. HA! Lunch at Fortune Wok to Table, my favorite dumpling shop and then maybe a walk around Wash Park, catching up on how we are both handling these days. KOA House for Lomi Lomi Massages after and then Happy Hour at Postino on Broadway. No bestie hangout would be complete without dinner at Grind Kitchen + Watering Hole – the Kale Caesar is both of our favorite. Colorado is such a treasure to live in you can dine, relax and play in one of the most beautiful places in the world, the mountain skyline makes it picture perfect no matter what you do. Just thinking about all the possibilities for fun in this city, excites me. I love you best friend and here’s to dreaming!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My clients deserve the biggest shoutout; from relying and confiding in me, to recommending me to others I would not have a business if it were not for them. They are all over the world from Australia to Zion. They are beautiful and bold and have healed themselves from trauma and heartache and I wish the best for them. My clients mean the world to me!
