We had the good fortune of connecting with Natasha Cocco and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Natasha, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I come from an extremely sporty, talented and creative family. All of us with unique talents but all very productive nevertheless. It has always been in my nature to be creative, even as a child. My dad, and his whole family are talented when it comes to painting and drawing, and he’s also been very active his whole life. My mum, and her side of the family have been very sporty. So my love of creativity came from mixing ice-skating and dancing with painting and drawing. Now I find myself still doing all of that as well as fitness coaching and I am a photographer. I would not be me without colour, art and expression.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Ever since I was a little girl I have always loved bright colours, funky patterns and mixing textures and all different options together that you wouldn’t normally piece together. I found this to be a great skill especially in the photography world; ensuring diversity. I love being creative with various mediums and tailoring that to any job I’ve had.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Since I am not from Florida originally, I have done this many times with family members. I have always shown them the hidden gems, the natural scenic options as well as the hippie areas. A fun vegan restaurant, an art gallery that has free admission, a beautiful beach, or even a trail leading to tropical blue waters. I love to show people the natural side of earth, bringing them away from the every day mundane feeling of heaviness that social media, electricity, technology, cars etc… that surround us.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have always surrounded myself with very talented people that I have the pleasure to learn and grow with and from. I have lived in many countries, worked with many people from all other world, so this is a shoutout to anybody I have crossed paths with. You have helped open my mind, supported my growth, and each person I’ve connected with wherever I was in the world; has made me find me.I have learnt that it is extremely important to be open minded, have hard conversations, be patient, and to give yourself grace to understand and grow within time. You’ll be amazed at yourself with the endless opportunities that you’ll be given if you just remain open to possibilities ✌🏼
