We had the good fortune of connecting with Natasha Duncan Grooming Salon Owner and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Natasha Duncan, what do you attribute your success to?
The single most important factor has and will always be the attention to detail. Clients are trusting us with their furry family members. I take that extremely serious, and treat my clients the way I would want to be treated and the way I would want my pets treated.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I knew from years of working in others grooming salons what I would and would not do if I ever had my own salon. When I finally did take the leap, I incorporated all of the ideas I had and held my breath. I wanted a salon that wasn’t so stressful for both the clients and the groomers. I also wanted the groomers to really get to know the animal in front of them.

It turns out that the clients appreciated that we took the time to get to know their pets and noticed all of the ideas I had made a reality. To me that will always be the most thrilling part. It truly means so much to hear from pet owners that they had a great experience at Le Paw Spa

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love being in the mountains, and we have so many beautiful spots to go. I would go to twin lakes and along the way stop and take in the views. In the evening probably a dinner at the rabbit hole, and a stroll downtown.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My parents were really supportive of my passion for animals and nurturing that. I have honestly so many bits and pieces of advice and skills that have been passed down on my journey from the people I’ve had the pleasure of working with. I’m thankful for all of them!
