We had the good fortune of connecting with Nickie Cole and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nickie, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
When my clients come to the NJP studio they immediately feel like they are being taken care of. I offer a full service luxury experience where my clients can just relax and let me work my magic!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Over the years my business has grown into a luxury newborn photography studio. That doesn’t mean to say I’m expensive, it just means that I have EVERYTHING possible to make your experience at the NJP studio a luxury experience for my clients! I am able to let my new parents relax while I take care of Baby and provide a tailored gallery of images for all of my clients.
Creating NJP has been a wild journey! I fell in love with newborn photography about 14 years ago, right when it was really just starting to become a ‘thing’! I have learned alongside some of the best in the business and have strived to learn everything I can! The industry is constantly changing but I feel I have found my niche and I love creating beautiful portraits of new and growing families.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well, I am English, so when I have friends and family come to stay we immerse ourselves in all things ‘American’! We have to go to a Baseball or Football game! Lots of Diners! Downtown Denver and hang out at Larimer square or Union station! We might go to Red Rocks or up to Breckenridge and definitely a trip up Pikes Peak and hang out in Manitou Springs!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My husband is my biggest cheerleader! He has supported me over the years in this venture and has (almost!) never grumbled when more packages of props arrive on the doorstep!
