We had the good fortune of connecting with Paige & Rachel Nix & Barrera and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Paige & Rachel, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Our thought process behind starting Mia Bella Esthetics was to open a safe & comfortable space for everyone’s beauty & skin care needs. Separately we bring something different to the table,as well as what services we specialize in. Our combined passion & love for esthetics,and our clients makes us stand out in the community.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At Mia Bella Esthetics we offer a variety of Facials, Brow & Lash Services, Microdermabrasion,Chemical Peels,Full Body Waxing, Variety Of Skin Treatments as well. What’s sets us apart is our knowledge,and holistic approach in our treatments. We are definitely most proud of recently celebrating our one year anniversary of being open! We’re pretty proud of staying open & afloat durning this global pandemic. We have gotten where we are today from great team work,communication,our community outreach,and support from our loved ones & clients. We definitely have had our challenges,but our high’s have outweighed those  challenges. If it wasn’t for our strong  friendship & communication who knows where we would be at. We’ve learned that it’s ok to make mistakes,but learning from is what’s most important. We want the world to know that Mia Bella Esthetics is here to serve EVERYONE & we welcome EVERYONE with open arms. We want everyone that comes visit us is comfortable in their own skin & help them make their own beauty mark in the world.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
This is definitely a loaded question. We would obviously start off with a day in our Spa Suite,and I’d have to start off the trip with going into Lodo & RiNo and visit local breweries & restaurants. Then, go on a variety of killer trails in Crested Butte,The Springs,and Estes. Everyone of those spots has amazing smaller restaurants,shops,wine tastings & local breweries.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Our family,friends,and clients deserve A LOT in our story! We wouldn’t be where we are in life, or business without all of our loved ones and our clients. They all have supported us since we’ve attended Esthetics School, the idea of opening our own business, and the opening of our doors. We appreciate & love every single one of you & beyond. We both give credit to each another as well, because with us two & our hard work & dedication Mia Bella wouldn’t be where it is today.
