We had the good fortune of connecting with Pamelagrace WithoutTheSpace and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Pamelagrace, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I have always been drawn to how music brings people together. Whether in religious contexts or just concerts there is something powerful about that sort of connection. I wanted to create a service where I could use my gifts to also bring people together. I also wanted to feel more connected to my clients rather than dealing with the layers of limitations that tend to be in bigger companies. I hope that people really feel the authenticity in my services whether it’s a singing telegram, a musical collaboration with other artists, or creating music for other small business etc.


Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I have had over 20 years of vocal experience with varied styles of music such as rock, reggae, folk, country & neo-soul. I have had the pleasure of opening up for artists such as Mary Mary, Tye Tribbett & Lyle Lovett. I have been in the wedding scene for over a decade and am always moved by the way music brings families together. After our global lockdown, I was forced to think of creative ways to be accessible to prospective clients! It’s been a fun journey navigating different virtual spaces from all over the globe-Brazil, Nigeria, Ghana, Colombia, Ghana, & the UK to name a few locations!

I have always enjoyed singing “Happy Birthday” to my loved ones. The way they light up with joy always lets me know that they feel valued. As I was navigating different online spaces I quickly noticed that viewers often asked for song requests. I found that when I would fulfill these requests they would tell me things like “you made my day” or “ I was really having a rough day before you sent me this and it helped”. It dawned on me that this was an opportunity to use my gifts in a more personalized way than at events or shows. Soon after my “Pamograms” started-a singing telegram service for your family, your boo, your bestie, or just YOU! It’s been exciting to offer this service both online or in person and all that’s needed is: 1) The song you want personalized

2) Who you want to dedicate it to

3) 4-5 pictures of them

4) A personalized message for the caption

& I’ll take care of the rest!!! My goal, in a time that has been very isolating and full of despair, is to facilitate connection and joy. I look forward to meeting you!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to shout out Destiny and Wayne (co founders of DCI-DreamCreateInspireTour) for always pulling out the greatness in everyone they encounter. They were one of the few people who saw my talent and collaborated with me in a powerful way!

Working with them in their song writing workshops have helped me to refine my skills while serving marginalized youth from all over the world! Thank you!!!

I would also like to shout out D-Trait, LSBCHORDZ, & Ryan for collaborating with me in my very first official single!!!! (Respect by Pamelagrace WithoutTheSpace, on all platforms!!) They believed in my vision and helped bring my thoughts to life, both lyrically and musically! Lesgoooooo!!!!!
