We had the good fortune of connecting with Patrick “pH” Hampton and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Patrick “pH”, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
What is Authenticity? My companies mottos is, “Truth Conquers”. This comes from the Moore family motto. Which is part of the name of the company and my grandmother’s maiden name. She happens to be one of the first female franchise owners in Canada’s history. Partly, due to her father’s business influence overseas and the opportunity it provided. But my point is with this understandings and family lessons, “Generational Knowledge”, that was ingrained in my upbringing I can only honor the ancestors by continuing what they started to make a better world.

As we travel through our business; we deal with a spectrum of personalities in a multitude of rules. In the end there are few truths that bond us. Many comes down to the bottomline. I’m blessed by some of the greatest teachers of their crafts. Who have made me realize what is the foundation of our culture. It will always be the people. Being an Entertainment company it takes faith and belief to teach the lessons we try to encapsulate into society. It’ll always take an Authenticity approach in the tools needed to reach the audience and honor the crowds they bring.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Ideas are a dime a dozen. It takes a skilled craftsman to make a product. Blessed by the acknowledgments in many different fields. The key is to focus on the work and the world will come around it.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love union station. There are some many place you can find brilliant piece hidden among the city.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Without the partnership with my mother C.M. Watson. We would of never discovered our potential in business and the gifts God provides. Blessed by the providence he calling directed.
A huge special thanks to my mentors: Blaqthoven, Bad Azz (RIP), Big NoName, Sticky Fingaz, Bill Berchsky, Kim Fowley(RIP), Jamie Hall, Roddy “Rowdy” Piper” (RIP), the rest of my business partners, fans, and family.
