If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Day 1: Explore the Great Outdoors

Start the day with a hike in the iconic Flatirons, offering breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains. The Chautauqua Trail is a always a good one.
After the hike, we’d refuel at The Buff Restaurant, amazing food and $1 cocktails.

In the afternoon, visit the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) for a fascinating tour of their facilities and to learn about cutting-edge climate research.

Day 2: Downtown Pearl Street and nightlife

Spend the morning exploring the lively Pearl Street Mall, and grab some breakfast at Snooze.

Leave Pearl Street and Grab lunch and drinks Avery Brewing Company and sample their locally-brewed beers.

Maybe in the evening, catch a live music performance at the iconic Boulder Theater or the Fox Theatre.

Day 3: Art and Culture

Start at the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art.

Next, visit the Dairy Arts Center.

For lunch, head to Blackbelly that sources ingredients from local farms

In the afternoon, explore the Boulder Arts District, home to galleries, studios, and public art installations.

Day 4: Outdoor Adventures

Depending on the the season, rent bikes and explore the bike paths, including the Boulder Creek Path. We could also go tubing on the creek.

Day 5: Day Trip to Rocky Mountain National Park

Take a day trip to the stunning Rocky Mountain National Park, which is just a short drive from Boulder.

On our way back, stop by the town of Estes Park for dinner at one of the local eateries, like the Estes Park Brewery.

Day 6: Culinary Delights

Start the day at Lucile’s Creole Cafe, known for its authentic Creole and Cajun cuisine.

Spend the afternoon on the Boulder Ale Trail, a self-guided tour of the city’s craft breweries, including Avery Brewing Company, Upslope Brewing Company, and Sanitas Brewing Company.

For dinner, indulge in Frasca Food and Wine, a James Beard Award-winning restaurant renowned for its exceptional Italian cuisine.

Day 7: Relaxation

Head to a leisurely brunch at Dushanbe Teahouse, a stunning Persian-style teahouse serving a variety of teas and light fare.

Spend the afternoon exploring Red Rocks Amphitheatre for a scenic hike.
