We had the good fortune of connecting with Rachael Lynn and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rachael, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
I live by the motto “Look good, feel good, play good”. There’s just something about being out in nature doing the things you love, and feeling cute while doing it. It’s especially a struggle being a girl in the outdoor community, as most clothing lines are catered to fit men, and women are often left to less than half the amount of options. Plus, I swear when I have on an outfit I love, I snowboard better. I hike faster. You just feel better, and it travels through every movement you make.
That’s why I love being able to express not only my outdoor lifestyle, but the outfits that go with it to my audience. To give inspiration, and to show others that it’s WAY easier to get out of your comfort zone when you’re comfortable in the clothes you’re wearing!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My content is all about capturing the beauty of adventure and self-expression. I’m always focused on specific aesthetics I want to create within both my video and photo content — whether it’s a day in the life, hiking through the mountains, or carving through fresh snow on my snowboard. I’ve been drawn to photography and videography since middle school, and over the years, that passion evolved into storytelling through film photos and videos that reflect the lifestyle I love: being outdoors, exploring, and embracing personal style.

Getting to where I am today professionally hasn’t always been easy. When I started posting content consistently over the past year, gaining an audience and getting the ball rolling was tough. But I stayed true to myself — I never chased trends or posted just for the sake of what was popular. I focused on sharing what felt authentic to me: my experiences, my style, my love for the mountains and being outside. And because of that, success followed.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is to just go for it. Don’t be afraid to post content, even if it feels vulnerable. Don’t wait around for the “right” time or the perfect circumstances. Don’t be afraid to do things alone — some of my best hikes and most creative moments happened when I went solo. And when it comes to style? Never feel like you’re overdressed or like you have to save an outfit for a special event. We only get one life — live it fully, unapologetically, and in a way that makes you feel your best.

What sets my work apart is that it’s rooted in authenticity. I love giving my viewers a fresher, more real feel of life outdoors. The beautiful, the jaw dropping, the bad, and the ugly. I showcase not only the scenic spots I come across, but the hard reality of outdoor gear prices and bad weather conditions. I know I go crazy seeing seemingly perfect people with perfect lives all day on social media, so I like to imagine that my content can be a refreshing, genuine, and comforting space any person can come to.
I want people to see my content and feel inspired — whether that’s to take a solo trip, chase their own creative dreams, or wear whatever makes them feel confident, no matter the occasion. My brand and my story are about adventure, individuality, and embracing life without hesitation — and I hope that comes through in everything I create.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Oooh I LOVE this question. The answer will be the same every time.
My bestie and I are going to Western Colorado… with a heavy focus on Telluride. After picking her up from the DIA, we’re headed straight to Bonfire Burritos in Golden – because no road trip is complete in Colorado without the best breakfast burrito in the state.
Once we’d get to Telluride, we’d celebrate our arrival with drinks on the rooftop patio of Last Dollar saloon, catching up as the sun sets over the mountains.
The next day, we’d grab some coffee from The Coffee Cowboy, walk around town and along the river, and set out for our first real adventure: ATV riding in the San Juan’s! the tiniest mountain roads where one side is mountain and the other’s a 50ft drop — heart-racing, breathtaking, and absolutely unforgettable.
After that? We’re hitting the trails — on a mission to find the bluest alpine lake we can, snapping wildflower photos on film along the way. Once we set up camp, we’d watch the sunset and wind down the day with a fire, some s’mores, and good conversation under the stars.

If it’s wintertime? You already know we’re heading straight to Breckenridge or Copper Mountain for some snowboarding. Nothing beats carving fresh Colorado powder. We’d spend the day chasing runs, then head to Keystone for some night skiing under the mountain stars — an experience like no other. Afterward, we’d grab some phō from Pho Bay to warm up and wait out the classic I-70 traffic.

And for the ultimate morning? We’re skinning up the mountain before sunrise, getting first tracks before anyone else even gets on the chairlift — the perfect way to end an unforgettable week of adventure.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d love to dedicate this shoutout to my mom. She’s been my biggest supporter from day one — always pushing me to excel, not just in school, but in every aspect of life. She taught me the value of hard work, but also the importance of chasing my dreams. Even with me being so far from home, she’s never stopped encouraging me to explore the world and spend as much time as possible outdoors — doing what I love. Whether it’s hiking, snowboarding, traveling, or building a life around adventure and creativity, my mom’s belief in me has given me the courage to go after it all. I wouldn’t be where I am without her love, guidance, and constant support — so this one’s for her.
