We had the good fortune of connecting with Rachael Moster and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rachael, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
I love this question! I truly believe the greatest impact I have had on my children has been parenting with empathy. Children are just tiny humans with emotional needs but their communication skills haven’t advanced yet. While there is no perfect way to parent and no fool proof handbook to raising your tiny humans, I do believe that by leading through example and assessing their behavior through the filter of empathy we’ve given them a good foundation.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My brand, Rachael Moster, came about as a way for me to share my motherhood journey with others. I wanted to bring the real side of motherhood into the open. I have shared everything from the ups and downs of my infertility journey & twin pregnancy to tips and tricks for traveling with babies/toddlers and the reality of our daily life. My biggest impact has been through my YouTube channel. There I have helped countless moms who have experienced the same struggles as I have to feel less alone. When I receive comments thanking me for sharing my journey & giving someone hope, I know that opening up has been worth it.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There have been so many people who have influenced the direction of my life. When it comes to motherhood I have two influences above all others. My Maternal grandmother, Marion was a mother to 9 and had multiple sets of twins. When I’m struggling to raise my 3 children, including one set of twins, I think about her and what she accomplished. The other major influence has been my own mother, Laura. She raised 6 children, of whom I am the youngest! She has helped each of us in raising our own children and without her constant support and assistance, I honestly do not know how I could have survived parenting during the last few difficult years.
As for my business, I admire so many Motherhood creators, but one who I look up to greatly, is Brianna K (or Bits of Bri). Her content has always inspired me on my own journey as a content creator for motherhood and lifestyle!
