We had the good fortune of connecting with Reagan Glass and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Reagan, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
Photographers wear more than one hat. In fact, we wear MANY. Not only do we hold a camera, we are marketing managers, social media managers, accountants, event planners, therapists, writers, content creators and so much more. We pour our heart and soul into what we do and I think a lot of outsiders are probably unaware of that!

Don’t get me wrong. I LOVE what I do and it is so fun to share the “behind the scenes” of photography life. I think more photographers need to share inside looks at the different hats they wear with outsiders!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a natural-light, portrait photographer based in Oklahoma, and I specialize in seniors, couples and product photos. I would say my style is very warm, bright and creamy. I also love some vibey, grainy moments. I am most excited for when I get to work full time as a photographer, traveling the country. (Arizona keeps calling my name!)

I am currently finishing up my bachelors degree at Oklahoma State University, so working as a photographer is no easy task. I have worked hard to create a work/life balance and build my business!

Along the way, I have learned how to create boundaries for myself, attract my ideal clients and truly find what makes my soul flutter. I hope others can see how incredibly passionate I am about what I do, and hopefully share in some of the moments that have made my life so special.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Living in Stillwater, Oklahoma is always heck of a time! It’s a college town, so there is plenty to do!

First, I would suggest grabbing breakfast at Granny’s Kitchen, a cozy, southern restaurant located in the downtown area. Grab some lunch at Louie’s Grill & Bar! I love going there to play bingo on Thursday’s and could eat an entire platter of the chips and queso. Finally, end the night at Zannotti’s Wine Bar, an upscale downtown restaurant!

Last, but not least, the bars located on Washington street are the ideal place for the nightlife buzz. (figuratively and literally)

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My incredible clients deserve ALL the credit for my success. They inspire me and truly make me better at my job. Without them, I would be nowhere!
