Meet Ruth Renwick | Co owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ruth Renwick and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ruth, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
We started the tile business in 2008 when the market had issues and we lost our other business. This was a hobby but a good one and had already started to make money. So we ran with it.

What should our readers know about your business?
Renwick Tile’s LLC is a proud, homegrown business based in Grand Junction, Colorado. Our journey began in 2008 in Knysna, Western Cape, South Africa. In 2018, after a brief stint in California—a place I spent my formative years—we finally set down roots in Grand Junction.
My husband, Craig, brings over 40 years of experience in pottery and glazing across three continents. Specializing in custom-made tiles, we are celebrated for our vibrant colors and the exceptional ability to create unique, tailor-made designs.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Taco Party for dinner,
Main Street for shopping
Trail life for dinner and music
Gear Junction, Heirlooms, and Funky junky.
The monument.
The Ribbon for sundowners,
18 road in Fruita for a Bar b q and bike ride
In the summer a float down the river .
Golf and drinks at Tirado
Pickleball at Lincoln park
Hartman’s, for gifts.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
