We had the good fortune of connecting with Sarah Kimble and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sarah, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Both of us knew we wanted to own a company, to build something that mattered to us. When Salina and I came together, we said we only wanted to do this as long as it stayed true to who we were as people. Salina has worked in catering for years, I worked in fashion. We both wanted to combine our talents to do something fun, creative and gave us the ability to express ourselves. We’re both romantics and wanted to use that aspect of our personality to expand who our brand was; an extension of ourselves.
We enjoy being able to use our skills and creative desires to help our clients vision come to life. We are meticulous in every aspect of our company from shopping for our clients to designing the logo, every part of us can be seen throughout.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
It’s never going to be easy to build something from scratch. Salina and I have spent countless hours and days working on every single aspect of the company. Even today, we rework any part of the company we aren’t satisfied with. We’ve discovered naivety has no place in business, we’ve had to be very honest with ourselves during the design process of this. We’ve had to figure out what we are willing to give up to afford the company while learning to balance our personal lives.

We want to be able to say we are proud of our company. If we wouldn’t buy a charcuterie board from ourselves, why would we sell it?

What sets us apart is our perspective and approach to business. We each have different backgrounds but are both young enough, we merged them. Salina worked in catering and I worked in fashion. We came together to create The Grazing Goddess, a romantic blend of food and companionship. We’re friends who became business partners and while that has been a learning curve, to understand each other in a different way, we wouldn’t want to work with anyone else.

We strive to provide an experience for our clients that they will never forget.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Oh, Absolutely!

I’d have a friend stay in The Brown Palace Hotel in downtown Denver.
Ti Cafe on North Broadway has some of the best matcha! I personally love their strawberry matcha.
For something fun to do, I’d take a friend to play life-size Monopoly at The Performing Arts Center.
For dinner, I would take a friend to BomBay Bites in the Southglenn area of Centennial.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Salina: My music teacher from high school, truly inspired me to be who I am. He truly encouraged me to bring out my artistic side and made me feel inspired to create, to be out of my comfort zone.

Sarah: My brother and sister-in-law truly have been some of my biggest supporters. Both have truly done so much by encouraging me and even just listening to me. Their grit and determination in their own lives have truly propelled me forward that no matter how hard it can be, it will get better. I have never felt unheard or unwelcome at any point with them.
