Meet Shianne Wright | Life Coach & Mindfulness Guide

We had the good fortune of connecting with Shianne Wright and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Shianne, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I have known ever since I was a teenager that I wanted to work for myself. Having my own coaching business seemed to tick all the boxes; I have always loved supporting people by holding space, asking questions, and encouraging them to keep going. And although I believe that you can make a difference no matter where you are and what you’re doing, my heart was set on creating an impact in a way that allowed me to be free, too– in time, money, and energy. I am one of those people that loves to share what has helped me in my own healing, whether it is through fitness, health, or spirituality. I wanted a way to integrate all of my education and personal experience into something helps others transform their lives, too, from the inside out. Nothing gets me more excited than witnessing someone take their personal power back and begin to feel themselves again. Starting my own business was my way of contributing to the healing of humanity and our planet.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am a body-based life coach. I help women reconnect to their bodies so that they can feel more free and empowered to experience their Highest evolution and timeline. What sets me apart is that almost everything I do is rooted in the body. If you are blocked on any goal, we are going to go to the body for answers. Where are you storing stuck energy or trauma? Connecting with the body allows it to reveal to us the wounds, memories, and misunderstandings that are asking to be seen. & What does in-sourcing safety, confidence, joy feel like in the body? By imagining what it feels like, we work with our body to teach our cells what we actually want to experience so we can flourish. If your experiencing anxiety, gut problems, hormone imbalances, etc, we are going to look into your exercise and nutrition. It’s all connected. It is through somatic exploration that our body shows us the root cause of our limitations and, therefore, our limitless potential. From there, we can actually begin to free and heal the nervous system, body, mindset, emotional and energetic bodies.
I get the most excited about getting to walk with clients through this empowering awakening process. “Mudita” is a Sanskrit term for joy, but the kind of joy you get from seeing others’ joy. Mudita is why I enjoy watching a passionate musician and why I coach. It is the most fulfilling and humbling position as a coach and guide.
I got to where I am today with my business through a lot of determination, doubt, and support. Allowing myself to feel the feels while not allowing them to take me out of the game has been the greatest practice in my progress and success. It has most definitely not been easy; I don’t think many people realize what it takes to be an entrepreneur. You don’t just quit your jobs and suddenly rise into amazing success. It’s a process of shedding, rebirth, and becoming, of radical belief in yourself and the Universe, of doing your own inner work, and of recklessly trusting your intuition. I find meditation, visualization, tapping and breath practices to be helpful tools in this process, along with more practical support from trusted mentors and continuing education.
My number one core value is Freedom. I want freedom for myself in every sense: freedom from limiting or negative beliefs, old patterns and behaviors, self judgement. Because Freedom from these means more freedom (space) for love, joy, fulfillment, abundance, and healing. And I want this for the rest of the world, too. I believe as each individual gets more free, we elevate and heal the trajectory of humanity. Just think about it; the more free you feel inside, the more available you are to show up in a way that helps you and the world around you thrive, because you are not just trying to survive. It is both pleasure and purpose.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The Roaring Fork Valley boasts some of the best outdoor recreation activities. So depending on the time of year, we would certainly get out for some hiking or skiing. Cold plunging in the river is a must in the summer. We would certainly need to go see a movie at the Crystal Theatre; a cool, old theatre in the heart of Carbondale. And morning coffee shop stops are a great place to meet locals and get the vibe of town. We could see a show at the Belly Up or TACAW and grab some food from our favorite cowboy bar, The Brick Pony. This is a great place to visit if you need to disconnect from the city and reconnect to nature. It’s a great opportunity to slow down and get outside. There’s a bike path that runs from Glenwood Springs to Aspen, so we could clear your mind with a long ride, maybe stopping by Woody Creek Tavern for some lunch. Speaking of Glenwood Springs, we would absolutely go for a soak or two at the hot springs; we will probably need it after a week of adventuring!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Shoutout to everyone who has believed in me along the way: teachers, mentors, friends, family…. your words of encouragement and inspiration are reminders of who I am and breadcrumbs that lead me to my purpose.
Shoutout to myself & Spirit for the evolution and devotion, as this lens is what allows me to see the real, raw beauty of all the joy, pain, suffering, and success. I am so grateful to be alive.
And, perhaps my highest dedication of all… to my partner. Thank you for learning and growing with me, for showing me unconditional love, for the space you hold that has healed and continues to heal me in ways I didn’t even know. Your voice of reason, lighthearted laughs, and unwavering support have undeniably allowed me to be where I am today.
