Meet Teresa Wagner | Executive/Artistic Director and Dancer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Teresa Wagner and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Teresa, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
We wanted to create a dance space that welcomed everyone regardless of ability and/or training. In my opinion, that should be open to everyone.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Integrated dance is an art form all of its own. It includes anyone who wants to dance. There is no training necessary just the love to dance. It’s also means that whatever your ability or disability is, you can Dance.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
The symphony or theater..
A Spoke N Motion Dance rehearsal or performance.
Moose Hill Cantina in Lakewood, my favorite Mexican food restaurant.
My house, nothing like a good long conversation!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Robyn Gisbert, my friend and partner in creating Spoke N Motion Dance Paul Fiorino, my mentor.. David Mineo, my dance partner for over 20 years. John Wagner, my husband who lovesj and supports me in all of my endeavors.
