We had the good fortune of connecting with The Social System and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi The Social System, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
I am from Denver, CO. My father and I actually were born at the same hospital downtown at the old Saint Joseph. Not many people these days you and I may know can say the same and its where I shall always identify myself. Home is where the heart is! Background is so important, thru trials and tribulations to all the lifetime lessons you learned from 18-28 are such a time! The things I have done here in Denver are remarcable. What I have accomplished, processed, honored, and just felt thru in this city plays a big part on who I am. Each BIG city in our Country are just like a video game when you travel to different types of land and others homes. From culture and weather to just whats out and also available to the youth plays such a big part! In a big city like Denver you hope to grow fast and succesful and sometimes alot of us originally from here did not get that. Whether due to our area, our familys finances, gentrification, and even the hood! I used all of those to my advantage because to me Denver has always been a home for where the Cowboys Roam. You can make amazing money here if you got that mouth piece, you know those people, and you got that hustle and faith to gain no matter lifes lessons! So many succesful people have called this place home moving here and I feel not enough have found the success here. Theres alot of politics that come with the money and alot of people trying to create a following but it leads to who you was even coming from the mud. While I am aware of all of these things MY city holds. The good and bad it really defines why The Social System always gives you something to talk about!

What should our readers know about your business?
The Social System Young Divinci Entertainment is a brand name I have owned since I was 19 years old! When I discovered the name I wanted to use to represent myself, Social System aka Young Divinci, I purchased my LLC and have paid it since that day to always keep in good standings! Its been not necessarily tough but it has been a journey with my name. I manifested but I also did the WORK! As I mentioned in the previous questions alot of things in this city is based off politics and it seems like its always a new group of people trying to run who does what. What I have noticed is the people who are consistent and different really pave their own ways. I learned that you need to be authentic and of course represent you’re home but you also gotta get outta you’re statelines to really thrive when it comes to a creative business! The JOURNEY is everything! I did my first music video out of state with a audience out of state and it hit 10k views in its first twenty four hours just as an example! What I want the world to know about myself and my brand is that I am here to tell you, you can do anything! Read into myself and my background to find awareness in your’e own power! Many people in this world have no idea their life purpose and spend their entire lives trying to discover what that is along with love, stability, finance, and just being a decent human being. However myself, I know my purpose here on Earth and that is to inspire others to do what uplifts them and their own people! Walk in love and remember the biggest gift you can give anyone is, INSPIRATION! That there is The Social System Young Divinci Entertainment’s message!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If I had my bestfriend come to town it would indeed be a magical experience! I would take them to some of the best restaurants in my town! A local hole in the wall that you’re not gonna find in a yelp top 10 (or maybe a couple)! I would definetly take them to local food legends like, Pho Duy for their amazing Pho and authentic broth, Petes Kitchen for their ireptuable breakfas, Columbine Steakhouse for their Denver T-Bone steaks! The days would consist of a hike on one or two of them days being Mt Falcon Hiking Trail where at the top of two mountains you find a real decaying castle and not only that but to see the city and the beauty of our globe! Also maybe a more personal hike at Bear Creek! Through the trail not normal commoners would go but a secrety trail only travelers would find! Road trips to are also fun from the Downtown Denver city up the highways to Boulder and to Colorado Springs which has so much to do and see I cannot even construct into writing! A tattoo trip as well! I know some of the best tattoo artists in this state if you know what you are looking for! Script art with Aaron Diaz at Old Larimer St Tattoo, to even Nabile Torres at Black & Grey Tattoos! Just to name two! Their trip would consist of good food, good fun, great shopping, and a tattoo to always remember the days by! Not to mentions the dispensarys if their home never legalized!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I gotta start right off on this one! I shall always give her, her flowers! The one who deserve this questioned credit in my story has to be Lady Gaga. I know right off the bat if you don’t know me you ask, Gaga? Why Lady Gaga out of all the people you could mention? When I was in my early teens starting my Hip Hop career I was very unhealthy mentally and physically and so young. I was about 16 when I listened to alot of Pop and Hip Hop and that was when she dropped Born This Way. That was a time when I was younger and had no idea of my future. “No matter gay, straight, or bi’, lesbian, transgender life I’m on the right track, baby, I was born to survive!”
That was the one sentance that changed my life and why I am still here on this Earth creating! Its all love for her for saving me that time in my life and I know alot of people feel the same!
