We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany Huang and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tiffany, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
What started as a passion project to satisfy my creative outlet has become an elaborate “underground” operation. Since I am inspired by so many things in life, pursuing a creative career really allowed recognition of my uniqueness and identity. It enables freedom to explore with constant curiosity while viewing everything as an art form. There is also something tremendously satisfying about bringing a vision to life, no matter what obstacles come along with it.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Truffle Cartel sources fresh truffles and caviar – some of the world’s most rare and valuable delicacies. We currently provide these ingredients to some of the top restaurants, hospitality groups, hotel groups and private chefs, along with retail.
We want these same ingredients, typically reserved for fine dining, to be accessible to everyone. We are revolutionizing the experience of obtaining these luxury ingredients by providing our customers with a sense of thrill and a cheeky element of adventure.
Truffle cartel is more than just a gourmet purveyor, and pushes the limits on a lifestyle brand people will crave and connect with.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Anyone in the culinary and hospitality realm. They are who inspire me – from chefs, restauranteurs, servers, back of house, front of house, managers, etc. I have the utmost respect for them all! And Anthony Bourdain, of course.
