We had the good fortune of connecting with Tim Moret and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tim, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I really wanted to create something that could help out the community by giving back.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Rocky Mountain Con (RMC) started and continues to be for the fans by the fans to help raise money for local non profits. I am most proud all the people that we have been able to help over the years. Running a Convention is never easy an takes up a lot of time and planning but in the end to see everyone there having a great time makes it worth all the late nights. Every year we do the show I learn more and more. Always trying to make the show better and better for the people and families that come to support us. To me our brand is about family and giving back.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
For me I would take them to all of the awesome comic shops that we have to offer. Food wise I would take them to a few of the no chain mexican resturants that we have in town

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to recognize everyone that has been with me since the start, From all the volunteer to all the venders and artist that continue to support the show.
