We had the good fortune of connecting with Timothy Wes and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Timothy, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Taking the biggest risk of my life was leaving my home state of Texas alone 12 years ago. I love listening to influencers like Gary Vaynerchuk. He says he loves to fail because you learn from it. You also humble yourself and learn how to do things better, with more patience, and I truly believe in that. I mentally carry a lot of what Vaynerchuk and Tony Robbins say into my risk taking decisions.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business consists of sometimes doing both the physical part of the job and digital. Where I work the role as a butler for bachelorette parties. Next, I’m getting behind a computer to knock out a few hours building websites, and working on social media management. Attending Full Sail University for Digital Marketing has given me an opportunity to apply SEO among my online material. I got enough bookings as a small business. There was a need to outsource new contracts with other model butlers. All this experience made me realize there are others like me who would love to get their name and brand out there as well. Online Marketing is something I started working on full-time to help other small businesses have a chance. Check out www.digitalvoiceplus.com to understand better.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would have to immediately go to Vail, Colorado. I spent 5 years working for Vail Resorts. As an employee you get familiar with all the “hot spots” and can ski for free during the entire season. Vail Brewing Company is a place known to have some of the best craft beers in the world, and Vendetta’s has some of the best pizza in the world.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
When I was an event coordinator for Heavenly Mountain Resort in Lake Tahoe, I came across a book called “The 4-Hour Workweek” by Timothy Ferriss. It completely changed my life to learn how most -if not all- businesses outsource or have specific websites to buy product in bulk. This book contained it all. Even the resources and websites were included. I also want to give a shout-out to Heavenly Mountain Resort. They gave me the opportunity to create and implement flash mobs during their aprés parties which opened up more opportunities in the entertainment industry for me.
