Meet Troy Good | Hip Hop Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Troy Good and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Troy, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
Other than deciding to work for myself , my single most important decision I’ve made that has contributed to my success is not fearing inevitable outcomes. Knowing that things won’t always go ras planned, but always working towards a better future for yourself. It’s easy to let your own mistakes get in the way of your thought process or creative control. Being able to put the fear of all the “what if’s” and “I don’t knows” aside and just being able to work and create has been a blessing for me and my career.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I think my writing and melodic style is very different from anything Colorado has heard.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
It’s funny you ask that , because my best friend is coming out this week from Chicago. For food I was going to check out all the hidden gems Denver has to offer from the @Denverfoodscene page on tiktok. Im not originally from here so I’m always on a new adventure out here myself. He loves to hike so I was going to take him to Garden of the God’s, and some spots up in Boulder . Maybe check out the Denver Selfie Museum too.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to my amazing 3 year old daughter. The second she came into my life , I became the man I wanted to be. Without her, my goals and drive would be limited to only my being. I wake up everyday wanting to provide more for her so she can live a happy life emotionally, and every other way. She is the light in my body. I dont know what I would do without her.
