Meet Victoria Sosa

We had the good fortune of connecting with Victoria Sosa and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Victoria, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I wanted to provided clients, with a safe and positive experience while enjoying a service. That included a creative color, to a haircut and or a total transformation with adding hair extensions, Giving the clients the confidence to slay every day.
One way to achieve that is by listening to the clients concerns, desires, and the stylist professional advice.
To bring the vision into reality together like teamwork.
I also strive on protocols to keep the integrity of the hair, less damaged. Before and after a service to make sure you get the best and safest plan to keep the hair strong, shiny and healthy. this also includes educating the clients with hair products, and why it is so important to the hair.
So I created Tori Sosa Beauty!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What makes me different is me! I have a passion when it comes to hair I know the power and influence it can have on a person. I also look at it from a creative point of view, how I can enhance the beauty.
What I am proud of is that I have not given up. It has been a very difficult journey , with detours and being patient. Especially when you pack up and move to a whole new state and re- build your brand and name while having to prove your skills and knowledge. I don’t think the hair industry is for the weak. We get judge often “it just hair” but it’s filled with daily challenges everyday. from balancing your personal life and what formulation to create for the client, and lots of hope and faith that the client needs are met with high expectations. We listen to everyone’s life & struggles that sit in our chairs. and what they are going through. Personally all I can think about is what can I say or do to help this person while taking care of their hair needs.
All it takes is for one person to say one negative thing about a service and our reputation can have serious consequences. We as hair dresser can and will make mistakes and you can’t be afraid of failure if you are new to this industry, and afraid to mess someone’s hair up. Yes it can happen I advise you to learn from it find a solution to the problem then pick yourself up and move forward. I believe that what makes a great hairstylist. What I want the world to know about Tori Sosa Beauty. is to never give up on your dreams or goal and listen to yourself no matter how difficult it may look but, have faith that it will all work out. while having amazing hair . All you need is faith the size of a mustered seed anyway!
