Meet Wagner Ribeiro | General contractor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Wagner Ribeiro and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Wagner, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My initial motivation for starting my own business was to assist young individuals who lack the desire to work by teaching them a viable career path.

What should our readers know about your business?
In 2002, upon arriving in the United States, I found myself immersed in the bustling world of construction. Despite lacking prior experience in the field, my proficiency in three languages quickly set me apart. I became an invaluable asset to my team, bridging communication gaps and facilitating understanding among diverse crew members. This role as a translator not only enhanced team cohesion but also accelerated my own education in construction practices.
By 2011, I relocated to Colorado, driven by a desire to embark on a new venture. While my real estate business provided comfortably for my family, I yearned for a hands-on project. Establishing my own construction company seemed the perfect endeavor. During this journey, I observed many young individuals lacking direction and purpose. Recognizing this, I committed to mentoring them, offering opportunities to build not just structures but meaningful careers. This mission became the cornerstone of my company’s growth and success, transforming it into what it is today.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If friends were visiting me here in Longmont, Colorado, I’d kick things off by taking them to some of my favorite local spots. We’d probably start at the Pumphouse Brewery; I love their extensive menu and their craft beers are top-notch. Another go-to of mine is The Roost, where the farm-to-table dishes never disappoint.
After we’ve had our fill, I’d suggest a drive over to Lyons. It’s a quaint town with its own charm. We could grab a bite at Oskar Blues Grill & Brew; the live music there always adds a fun vibe. From there, heading up to Estes Park is a must. The mountain roads are especially stunning in the fall, and Estes Park itself offers breathtaking views. Plus, it’s the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park, so there’s plenty to see and do outdoors.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Despite often working independently, my family has been my greatest source of support.
