Meet Wyatt Zalewski | Videographer & Editor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Wyatt Zalewski and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Wyatt, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Starting a business for me came out of necessity. I had a part time job on the side and inorder to continue doing that job I had to create an LLC and start a new contract with the company.

What should our readers know about your business?
I’ve been interested in film since I was a child, and I majored in it in college. I started working as a freelance videographer part-time while working another full time job and working towards receiving my MBA. There were a lot of really late nights trying to keep up with everything, but eventually I was able to make videography my full time career. Nowadays, I really try to set myself apart by going above and beyond with my clients. I want to give clients the experience of support throughout the entire creative process, even though a lot of times I’m working with other small businesses that might not have had that type of support and control previously. I take my clients product and needs with me everywhere. On trips I bring products to get photos for the clients in different settings. I also make connections between my clients that I believe would have good synergy between them. I want to create the best relationship that I can with each of my clients to provide them with a top level product. I have also been working on a full feature film that I hope to finish editing soon. At the core of everything is just creativity and using what I learn from each project to improve on my other work.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love trying local food places, so I think a lot of the trip would revolve around having them try all my favorite places. Right now a lot of our favorite places are around Broomfield–Scalzottos for Italian food, Outlaw Wings for wings, The Burns Pub for some great pub food, Wonderland Brewery for having a beer and hanging out with friends. Obviously no trip to Denver would be complete without a trip to see a concert at Red Rocks. Also depending on the time of year, there are so many experiences we enjoy with friends–like Oktoberfest in Breckenridge or walking through Denver’s German Christmas Market during the holidays.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My fiancée is the voice of reason in a venture filled with doubt. She is the one who pushes me to follow my dreams and do the type of work that I enjoy. She’s also a great resource for me to bounce ideas off of.
