Meet Wyncie Groves | Designer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Wyncie Groves and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Wyncie, why did you pursue a creative career?
“To create meant that I would look a little bit like my creator.” -Lysa TerKeurst
Everything points back to Christ and can teach you something about Him if you’re willing. Learning to create something new and beautiful has definitely made me feel like I understand my creator better.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business specializes in handmade western bags. Embossed leather, turquoise and fringe is what we love. Our slogan is “Put your western style on display. Make a statement.” We try to embody that saying by creating every bag to tell a story.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
There are a lot of people doing amazing things in our area, giving us the opportunity to shop and experience small. There is always an opportunity to support a small maker if you take the time to look for them. After learning my friends interests I would bring them to one of our local favorites that provides what they’re interested in. It feels amazing to shop small, you get the best quality, you get products that have heart and soul poured into them, and you get to support individual makers and families.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
A book that really inspires me when it comes to business or starting something new is Chase the Lion by Mark Batterson. I love in this book how the author talks about the domino effect of pursuing the dreams God has given you. It might be that something you do or create in pursuing your dreams is exactly what somebody else needs to get started in pursuing their own passions.
