Hi Yuna, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Velorum is an Opulent Apothecary, made with love by Yuna Velorum Blu. Created in quarantine of 2020, after finding ancient healing remedies to treat anxiety, depression & PTSD; I started growing over 25+ types of psychedelic mushrooms inside of my downtown apartment. Testing each one for their unique effects & life enhancing capabilities. Hoping to find a way to naturally heal from traumatic events without opioids or anti-depressant prescriptions.
Once I grew my first flush of Golden Teachers, I fell in love with the various shapes, colors & sizes. Each strain taught me something unique about the plant in retrospect with the universe. I only wanted more people to discover the awakening of this sacred medicine. I made microdose capsules to gift everyone I knew, which turned into creating various forms of chocolates, tinctures, cakes & teas. It was truly like a 1970’s Willy Wonka Factory.
I found incredible results in my mental health, which in return helped my psychical health. It felt only right to give back to what the medicine gave me. Spreading love, I started the process of gifting psilocybin mushrooms with every embroidered Velorum sweater online. Bringing awareness to the magic of mushrooms

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Lucid dreaming is possible with the use of psilocybin mushrooms before sleep. Becoming conscious even when you are
asleep- awakens you profoundly in real life. We have a lot more capability as humans if we are able to connect with ourselves & the planet in the correct ways. “It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent. It is the one most adaptable to change’ – Charles Darwin
Listening to our body while intentionally healing our roots & integrating plant medicine, we are able to evolve towards a brighter future. Our nervous systems are shaped quite like trees, for good reason. We are more one with the universe, than we have been led to believe. Over the years, this has made an impact on our internal systems, global warming + mental health. We need to be open about the origins of earth, to find a universal understanding in shaping a healthier future. It all starts within

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would like to take them to Jelly, it is one of my favorite breakfast spots in Denver. There is vintage cereal boxes on the walls, retro decor with delicious blueberry lavender pancakes. Sassafras in Highlands is also a lovely brunch spot. The best place my dog & I like to hang out is Evergreen Lake, with stunning mountain views for paddle boarding. Rooted Heart Yoga has a beautiful naturally sunlight room I enjoy going to for yoga sessions. If you’re looking for a fun night out, arcade games at 1up is the cherry on top
