We had the good fortune of connecting with Zoe Moff and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Zoe, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I decided to pursue music as a career because it was, and still is the only thing I could see myself doing for life. I grew up in a musical household where both my parents played instruments. My first memories of games and activities were related to music. Music as a creative art has that little “something” that affects us all in a different way and connects us as humans through it. It’s like a super power that the art has that heals, unites, expresses, claims and represents society’s words.
The fact that I am pursuing a career in music feels as if it was given to me, given by the Universe, a divinity, or whatever higher power you decide to believe in. I am a musician because I can hear things and have the ability to translate it through my own body, as a vase, and then express it to represent a broader cause, feeling, and community.
Please tell us more about your work. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
I am Zoe Moff, musician and sound engineer from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I grew up in a musician’s house-hold, where all types of arts and creative activities were encouraged. Both my parents play instruments which led to my first memories being about playing music, listening to CDs and attending my dad’s gigs. So yes, I was attracted to the sounds since I was little and picked up a guitar for the first time when I was five years old.
Since then, music has been my muse, my guide and the best way i know of expressing myself and connecting with others in the community. Throughout my life I have met most of my best friends and favorite people through music, because as most of us know and feel, music reunites and connects people.
The power of the art itself as a means of expression and as the “voice of the people” is not only what i love the most about what I do but also what is the most important value to hold as a musician. I think of myself as one of the luckiest people because I get so represent that “voice”.
Music is political and there’s always an important reason to do it, play it and share it. We can’t forget that

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Denver is a great city to visit, specially during the Summer! My main go-tos are always parks and open spaces, which Denver has plenty. The botanical gardens are also great to walk around, or just go chill, write. and read a book.
I would definitely take them to my favorite music joints and jam nights, like the Meadowlark, Mercury Cafe, Dazzle, Mile High Spirits, in between others.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There just isn’t enough gratitude for all who have made my journey possible! Huge thanks to my family and friends back in Argentina for constantly beliveing in me and my dreams 🙂
I also want to thank all my mentors, teachers, and professionals who I met across the way who continue to inspire me and push me to break my limits. Those incredible artists include Gonzalo Teppa, Mariano Martos, Anibal Company, Drew Morrell, Paul Musso, Andres Rot, Mehmet, Juan Estanga and Todd Reid.
Another shoutout to my colleagues and musical friends that are not only the people that inspire me the most, but i also admire each and everyone of them so much!
