Meet Damion Wilde | Professional Auto Detailer & Entrepreneur/Business Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Damion Wilde and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Damion, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process is having the mindset of wanting to work harder for myself than working for some else. Thinking of how much do I want to put in to how much i want to get out of it. In the auto detailing world there is plenty of opprotunity since there are vehicles everywhere and they all have the potential to be brought back to that dealer finish depending on the defects and damages.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We are still a very new business for only being open a couple months. We specialize in detailing cars from the inside out, this includes engine bays. This can be taken as far just a simple wash to paint correction and ceramics/wax which are slowly developing more into our business. What separates us from other detailers is our enthusiasm and culture in the auto industry. Our team is very much car enthusiast and love to show that through our help to restoring a car to its new finish look. Not only this we plan on bringing a culture of our business to customers with having our own design in merchandise that makes our customer want to be part of our team. Bringing that hot rod, lowrider, look into our business. For us it has been challenging working with a time limit of being in the same state for a short period of time since our team is in high school and college. We been making the most of it and its has been treating us well for the hard work that’s being out into the business.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Growing up in Berkley Colorado I would start there since Tennyson has evolved into such a touristic part of Denver and has plenty of restaurants activities to do on just one street. If this was a best friend I’m sure they wouldn’t mind getting away from the city and from there I would take them to Fairplay Colorado where there are cabins, places to visit family and have some fun on four wheelers and shooting.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
We would love to give a shoutout to our families helping support us along the way. Parents can play a huge factor of having a healthy life style. Helping support the effort and determination it takes to run a small business successfully fresh out of high school and even the first year of college. They’ve given us so much knowledge with business skills through running there own businesses and what measures need to be taken to have success in this world. We couldn’t have made it as far as we had without them.
