Meet Ashley Coffey | Leadership Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashley Coffey and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ashley, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Through the pandemic, I decided to leave the corporate world because my passion for supporting women in leadership grew. I found that no matter what consulting job I took or what CEO I coached to build their teams, the conversations were the same; women were still continuously being left out of important conversations, denied growth opportunities and the pay gap was going unchecked. So, I decided to move my consulting business into a coaching business that focuses on the feminine leadership process; normalizing it, supporting it, and empowering it. I have taken on all kinds of Lady Leaders across Colorado since then and I find my work incredibly rewarding.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Ashley Coffey Coaching is a reflective coaching education program that takes on powerful Lady Leaders who want to step fully into their GREATNESS. We welcome any Lady Leaders who are ready to receive powerful, life-changing tools that will support them in navigating living a BIG life. ACC supports feminine leaders in discovering their true confidence, self-expression, and how to take a stand that inspires others effectively. We do this by providing a safe and supportive platform for women to look and reflect on their own leadership, authenticity, and impact in the world.
Ashley Coffey Coaching has been my dream since I was in my undergrad. I have always been passionate about helping others discover their power but I knew I didn’t want to be a therapist. So over the last 10 years, my coaching program has been growing and developing. It’s not easy and finally taking the leap to take on clients 3 years ago was just as scary as it was exciting. However, I can’t coach women to trust their instinct, if I wasn’t going to trust mine. I had the skill, I had the education, and I had the experience. All I needed was the right brand to attract the women I wanted to take on coaching. #queens!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Colorado Springs Downtown area has transformed over the years. It’s very welcoming, diverse, and cultured which is so needed as we continue to progress as a community. We have such a great variety in our community, I never travel far to find good food and good people. Whenever friends or family come to visit, I take them to our part of the downtown neighborhood. Starting the day with Paris Crepe, then doing a dance class with Latisha Hardy, or a group fitness class with NEXUS, to grabbing drinks and dinner at High-Grade Jamaican Foods before trying some of the new bars like ICONS just up the street. Honestly, in my opinion, downtown is where it’s at whether you want to chill or have a good time.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
“It takes a Tribe” and it should. Anything worth building is worth having and sharing with others. Thus, Community is the biggest part of what I do. I coach women on how to build their own Tribes and I lead by example within my own. My tribe is my family and we lean on each other with everything. In particular, I wouldn’t have gotten to where I am now without the help and support of Latisha Hardy. Not only do I coach the leadership within her businesses, but I also took her Business Management Program. This is where I officially launched my coaching program feeling confident in my business foundation. Coaching women on leadership strategy is my passion; Latisha Hardy helped me make it a successful business.
