Meet Lawrence Dvorak | Owner of dvorak cinema & camera operator/Location sound recordist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Lawrence Dvorak and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lawrence, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
Well I got the idea from my business growing up as a skateboard filmmaker and moving and transitioning myself to working in television and film production now. Basically it was combining the two passions that I like filmmaking and skateboarding and my own personal stamp behind it. That’s how I came up with Dvorak cinema LLC which is a production company that is based in Denver Colorado.

What should our readers know about your business?
Definitely starting out in any sort of business it’s a building block working your way up. I would like people to just know that I’m a very hard-working individual who has studied personally numerous hours on perfecting the craft mastering the skills needed to have industry standard etiquette. which in return has made my company grow with great success. as I know my employees live up to the same standard as I expect them. when you work with dvorak cinema it’s a very creative group of individuals who have mastered the craft in there perspective fields and their creativity has stood out amongst a sea of artists hence why they’re working with me at Dvorak cinema. I would say our brand motto is simple really it’s getting the standard Hollywood creativity and quality with a blue-collar work ethic.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Rocky Mountain National Park is about a two-hour drive from Denver, making it one of the best Denver day trips. The drive and the destination both offer breathtaking views! Just about every spot at the park gives you a scenic view of the Rocky Mountains, and you may see a moose, elk, marmots, and adorable pikas roaming the park. Hikes in Rocky Mountain National Park lead to summits, waterfalls, and alpine lakes.
The scenic Trail Ridge Road is a must for summertime visitors. It’s the highest continuously paved road in the U.S. and climbs to more than 12,000 feet above sea level. makes for an awesome adventure with anyone visiting Colorado!

my father has always been the help and extra push I’ve always needed to feel like I’m successfully succeeding in my business practices. he has alway helped guide and mentor me along the way when I find myself in difficult situations or just when it comes to problem solving. my father has always been there for me and continues with his helpful input when time in needed for it!
