We had the good fortune of connecting with Danielle Klein and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Danielle, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
I began my business because of my own struggles with mental and physical health. When I stepped on the path of holistic wellness and saw the incredible changes in my life, I knew I had to share it with others. My business truly started when I left my corporate job to become a yoga teacher, and from there, I kept growing – meditation teacher, sound healer, retreat leader, and now an online educator.
But these aren’t just jobs to me; it’s a mission. Mental health hits close to home because I’ve seen the toll it can take. I’ve lost loved ones tragically, seen friends grapple with depression and anxiety, and wrestled with my own challenges. So, my core mission is to help each client heal and find their own strength, knowing that the positive ripples they create in the world can be substantial.
And now, I offer a Sound Healer Course. It’s designed for those who feel the call to this potent modality of Sound Healing, guiding them to become leaders and beacons of light in their own communities. Together, we can make a difference, helping people heal and transform, one sound wave at a time.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am a Sound Artist, Sound Healing Trainer, ThetaHealer™️, Yoga, Meditation & Breathwork Instructor, Cacao Ceremonialist, Retreat Leader, Seller of Sound Healing Instruments, I am a Crystal Tones® Partner and creator of The Sound Healer Course.
Energy work is a holistic practice focused on balancing, cleansing, and harmonizing the body’s energy systems. It’s about cultivating inner awareness and guiding energy towards a state of balance. The energetic imbalances can show up as emotional and physical ailments. My passion is to help you alchemize and shift energy so you can let go of what has been holding you back, connecting you back to your most true empowered self. The more your energy flows fluidly, the more grounded, inspired, joyful and uplifted you become.
I am most proud of the students that graduate from my Sound Healer Course and the clients I get to work with when I pick out sound bowls for them. Out of the billions of people in the world, it is really an honor to have been connected in this moment, on this path of sharing a mutual mission to help others. I get so excited to see my students creating sound bath classes, events and receiving feedback saying how much their sound journeys have helped their clients. This fuels me to keep doing what I do.
I have to say that creating my business was not always easy. It has come with its ups and downs. I started my business of course to help people but also to have a better work-life balance for myself and to express my creativity. Social media portrays starting a business as being all rainbows and butterflies but that’s not really the case.
There have been days and even weeks where I was putting in more hours than my past 9-5 jobs. It’s also challenging when you’re doing everything alone, without a team to collaborate with and share ideas. Luckily, my Mom and husband have been big supporters of me and my business, so they have listened to me get excited about ideas, go through the process of how to execute them.
There have been days when self-doubt creeps in, and I have questioned if what I am doing is truly impactful. There are days where I didn’t feel like having to work but I needed to in order to bring money in, put food on the table and pay bills. These are the real struggles as a business owner.
These 3 things helped me as an entrepreneur to overcome these types of challenges:
1. Scheduled Days Off: I learned the value of self-care. I take breaks when needed. I play the sound bowls for my own mental health. I schedule “off days” in my calendar so clients can’t make any appointments. And on those “off” days I don’t look at emails so I can truly step away from the business tasks and I won’t answer any phone calls. I think that’s a big one for entrepreneurs. We think we need to be available at every moment. But in that way of thinking, you’ll never have the freedom that you desire.
2. Listen to Your Intuition. In my early days of hosting retreats, I meticulously planned every detail, only to burn out before the event began. I placed immense pressure on myself to ensure every participant had a transformational experience. What I was really craving though was more flexibility and spontaneity, connecting intuitively with the energy and retreat attendees. I now create more loose itineraries and have a more go with the flow attitude. This approach not only allowed me to be more present but also to have more fun in the process.
3. Fueling Your Mission: One of my personal self doubt thoughts is, “Am I even making a difference?” When I don’t see the progress I want quickly enough, I can get down on myself. Something that helps me is to have a “Thank you memory box.” I have taken screenshots of clients who have messaged me and saved cards and emails where they are thanking me after a session together, letting me know how much I helped them on their healing journey. In the moments where I have felt stressed, overworked and tired, those messages have lifted me up and connected me back to my mission and purpose. Knowing that I helped someone has been the fuel to keep me moving forward on tough days.
One of my missions is to make even bigger impacts in this world. But I can only do so much as one individual person. There was a time where I was leading 8+ sound bath sessions a week plus hosting online classes and seeing my 1-1 clients. It was a lot. I recognized that my personal impact on the world was limited based on my own availability and time and energy. So I had an “ah ha” moment that we needed more leaders and healers worldwide. That’s when I created my Sound Healer Course, a program for heart-centered individuals to learn how to become confident sound practitioners. Together, we can make a difference, one ripple of positive influence at a time. This helped me spread the knowledge and wisdom of this profound modality to continue to create massive ripple effects out there in the world.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Planning a week-long trip in Denver for my best friend would be an absolute blast! We’d start out by heading to ChoLon in downtown Denver for their delicious foodie happy hour experience. We’d order a little bit of everything because the food is irresistible! After satisfying our taste buds, I would host a private sound bath and ThetaHealing ™ session. It’s the perfect way to infuse positivity and good vibes into the weekend ahead.
As a tea lover, we’d make our way to Babe’s Tea Room in Denver for a delightful afternoon tea. Those tiered platters filled with sandwiches, scones, and sweet bites are a real treat.
No trip to Denver would be complete without a drive up to Mount Blue Sky (formerly known as Mount Evans). It’s a short drive from the city and a fantastic opportunity to reach the summit of a 14’er without the grueling hike. We’d hope to spot some mountain goats and capture some stunning panoramic views.
We would make it a point to stop by a local farmers market, probably Cherry Creek to support the farmers and local businesses.
We’d also make time for a short hike along the Bluff’s Loop near Lone Tree. This spot is nostalgic and holds a lot of great memories. Of course, a visit to Red Rocks would be on the agenda to check for any upcoming shows and to soak in the views. For dinner, we’d enjoy sushi at Uchi, and perhaps even indulge in their tasting menu.
After a yoga or pilates reformer class we would catch a Colorado sunset from a rooftop restaurant in The Highlands, maybe at Linger. And no visit would be complete without a pastry or treat from The Denver Market, especially from izzio, where they serve the most mouthwatering baked goods.
Denver offers so much to explore! There’s always something exciting to discover in this city!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have to give a shout-out to all the incredible yoga & meditation teachers and authors who have helped me along my path of self-love and healing. During my darkest days, when I battled depression while living in Los Angeles, I signed up to be a member at a yoga studio. Sometimes I would attend 3-4 classes in a row, without even exchanging a word with anyone, but I soaked in every ounce of wisdom, guidance, movement, energy, and breath.
Looking back in those moments, I know that those teachers saved me. Saved me from the downward spiral of depression I was facing. Those classes helped me get out of the darkness and because of the transformation I personally had, I was then inspired to become a teacher myself.
I am grateful for every instructor I’ve had the privilege of learning from, for every author who has shared their knowledge, and for every soul who played a part in my healing journey. Your impact reached far beyond the yoga mat and pages in a book. You touched something within my soul, sparking change, growth, creativity and inspiration. I also have to shout out my Mom and husband for always supporting me and my dreams. Thank you for being my biggest cheerleaders.
