We had the good fortune of connecting with Karrie Pittman and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Karrie, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
I am proud to say that I am a fourth-generation Colorado native, born and raised in this beautiful state. Growing up in Colorado has had a profound impact on who I am today and how I approach my work.
My roots here run deep, and this unique background provides me with an in-depth understanding of the local culture and market. I’ve seen firsthand how our state has evolved and how the needs of businesses here differ from those in other regions. This understanding is invaluable when helping businesses navigate the Colorado market successfully.
In addition, my family’s entrepreneurial background has been instrumental. My grandparents owned a small business, and their experiences have given me insight into the specific challenges and opportunities that small businesses face in our region. It’s this intimate knowledge that allows me to tailor my services to meet the needs of local businesses effectively.
Furthermore, my previous role as an office manager for an international corporation gave me a broader perspective. I had the opportunity to witness how large corporations handle and disseminate information, providing me with valuable insights into the bigger picture of business operations. I can now leverage this experience to guide businesses in aligning their strategies and communications with larger corporate standards while maintaining the unique characteristics that make them thrive in Colorado.
In summary, my upbringing in Colorado, coupled with my family’s entrepreneurial background and my corporate experience, has shaped me into a professional who not only understands the local landscape but also has a keen eye for the broader aspects of business. I’m passionate about helping businesses in our region succeed and am equipped with the knowledge and experience to make it happen.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Absolutely, there are several individuals, groups, and resources that have played a pivotal role in my journey, and I’d love to dedicate this shoutout to them.
First and foremost, I owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to my family. Their unwavering support, encouragement, and belief in my abilities were instrumental in my decision to pursue my passion and open my own business. Their love has been a constant source of motivation, and I am truly grateful for the foundation they provided.
I’d also like to give credit to the book “Building a StoryBrand” by Donald Miller. This book has been an invaluable resource in helping businesses understand and fully embrace the power of branding. Its insights and principles have provided clarity to countless entrepreneurs and organizations, guiding them toward creating brand narratives that truly resonate with their audiences. “Building a StoryBrand” has played a pivotal role in educating businesses on the significance of branding, and its influence continues to empower them to communicate their unique stories effectively. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to gain a deeper understanding of the transformative potential of branding.
Lastly, I want to recognize the Colorado Springs community as a whole. This tight-knit community has been incredibly supportive of small businesses like mine. It’s heartwarming to see how local entrepreneurs come together, share resources, and collaborate to help each other grow. The sense of camaraderie and support in Colorado Springs is something truly special, and it has played a significant role in my business’s success.
