Meet Nathan Wheeler | Financial Professional

We had the good fortune of connecting with Nathan Wheeler and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nathan, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
My daily habits for success start with prayer, setting my intentions for the day, and expressing gratitude. I prioritize personal hygiene and take my supplements before diving into my morning routine. I dedicate time to reading the Bible, stating affirmations, and visualizing my goals, which helps me maintain clarity and focus. Next I exercise. This is a key part of my day and helps me stay disciplined and energized.
After that, I engage in deep study, whether it’s industry knowledge, leadership development, or business strategy. I then confirm my appointments, ensuring my schedule is aligned with my goals. Any spare moments are intentionally used to grow my business—whether through training, marketing, or networking with clients and associates. By structuring my day this way, I stay productive, focused, and consistently moving toward my long-term vision

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My journey in business has been anything but easy, but every challenge has shaped me into the leader I am today. Coming from a background in the military and strategic operations, I transitioned into the financial services industry with a clear mission: to change the financial landscape in America. I want to help people build wealth strategically so they can leave a legacy instead of debt.
Early on, I faced the typical struggles of breaking into a new industry—learning the nuances of financial strategies, building credibility, and growing a client base. But I overcame those challenges through relentless discipline, mentorship, and a commitment to mastering my craft. I surrounded myself with the right people, constantly sharpened my skills, and stayed focused on my long-term vision.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that success isn’t just about working harder—it’s about shaping your identity around who you want to become. You can’t define yourself by who you were or even who you are today; you have to intentionally align your mindset, habits, and environment with the future version of yourself. That means surrounding yourself with people who reflect the success, discipline, and values you want to embody, because who you spend the most time with shapes your beliefs about yourself.
Your habits—what you do consistently—reinforce your identity. Your affirmations—what you tell yourself—shape your confidence and self-image. And most importantly, your faith—who God says you are—grounds you in your true potential. This lesson has been transformative for me because growth is a never-ending process. If you were already the person you needed to be, there would be no reason to push forward. But the reality is, success requires constant evolution, and that starts with intentionally shaping your identity to match the vision of who you’re striving to become.
What I want the world to know about me is that my success isn’t about me. It’s not about what I can achieve for myself—it’s about leveraging my knowledge, experiences, and resources to help others reach their goals. Everything I’ve been through, everything I’ve learned, can’t just be for me. It has to serve a greater purpose. That’s why I’m committed to helping people realize their potential, achieve their dreams, and build the life they truly want.
My goal is to build an elite team of financial professionals who are just as passionate about making an impact as I am. I believe in empowering people with the right strategies, the right mindset, and the right opportunities so they can create financial freedom, security, and a lasting legacy. This isn’t just business—it’s a mission to change lives.
The road hasn’t been easy, but I wouldn’t change a thing. Every challenge has reinforced my belief that financial education and strategic planning can change lives—and I’m committed to leading that movement.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are several people who have played a pivotal role in my journey, and I’d be remiss not to acknowledge them. Nick Bosley and Rob Day have been incredible mentors, guiding me on the path to success, believing in me, and supporting me every step of the way. But without Silas LaGoy, I would have never met them, so he absolutely deserves recognition as well. Also, Christian Day has been my sounding board, friend, and the person who keeps me grounded, personally and professionally.
Beyond personal mentorship, Think and Grow Rich profoundly impacted my perspective. It helped me articulate strategies I had already been implementing and reinforced key principles of success in a way that truly resonated with me.
Of course, there’s no shortage of wisdom I’ve gained from so many people and resources along the way, but these individuals and this book have made a lasting impact on my journey.
