Meet Solange Inciarte | Entrepreneur & Event Specialist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Solange Inciarte and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Solange, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
When I started my own business, my thought process was quite organic and driven by circumstance. Initially, my thoughts were not very clear, but the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021 played a significant role in shaping my direction. Like many others, I found myself without work and needed to rethink how to generate an income. During this time, I also faced a personal challenge: I wanted to create a special birthday party for my daughter but struggled to find anyone who could deliver the level of detail and perfection I envisioned. This combination of personal need and the opportunity presented by the pandemic led me to explore the idea of starting a business. My goal was to combine my desire for a meaningful, well-executed celebration with the chance to create something valuable for others in similar situations.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My art, which primarily revolves around creating bespoke decorations for special events, is deeply personal and driven by a desire to make each occasion memorable and unique. What sets me apart is my meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to achieving perfection in every piece I create. My journey into this field began with a personal need: I wanted to decorate my daughter’s birthday party in a way that felt truly special, and I couldn’t find anyone in the market who shared my vision or attention to detail. This led me to start a business that allows me to blend my creative passions with my role as a full-time mother.
Getting to where I am today has not been easy. The COVID-19 pandemic in 2021 left me without work, prompting me to rethink my career and explore new ways to generate income. Balancing the challenges of starting a business with the demands of parenting was difficult, but the support from my daughter and my husband was invaluable. Their encouragement helped me navigate the obstacles and stay motivated.
One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is the value of perseverance and adaptability. Embracing challenges as opportunities for growth has been crucial in my journey. I’ve also learned that passion and personal connection to one’s work can drive exceptional results.
What I want the world to know about my brand is that it’s built on a foundation of love, personal experience, and a genuine desire to create meaningful and beautiful experiences for others. My story is a testament to turning personal challenges into opportunities and pursuing a path that aligns with both professional aspirations and personal values.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to two incredibly important figures in my life. First and foremost, to my daughter, who was the primary inspiration behind starting my business. She’s the reason I pursued a path that allows me to be a full-time mom and spend more quality time with her. Secondly, I want to acknowledge my dear husband, whose unwavering support has been crucial throughout this journey. His encouragement and belief in my vision have made all the difference, and I am deeply grateful for his support. Last but not least, I want to express my gratitude to those who believed in me and supported my small business, especially my first customers. Your trust and encouragement have been invaluable.
