We had the good fortune of connecting with Siera Capesius and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Siera, how do you think about risk?
Taking risks has always been a calculated endeavor for me; I am not one to act spontaneously. However, opening my own business stands out as one of the most significant risks I have ever undertaken. At 27 years old, I made the decision to establish my own personal training studio. In hindsight, I attribute my willingness to take this leap to a certain degree of ignorance. There is truly no preparation for the challenges and triumphs that come with starting a business. Nevertheless, this experience has taught me the importance of mental resilience and has shown me that I am capable of navigating challenges that many may find daunting.
What should our readers know about your business?
My path to where I am today has certainly been challenging, marked by significant financial sacrifices. Overcoming these obstacles involved making mistakes and diligently finding solutions to those challenges. Through this process, I’ve learned invaluable lessons about resilience, adaptability, and the power of helping people reach their fitness goals.
I want the world to know that our brand is evolving. Prolean Personal Training located in Denver, CO is our new rebrand, designed to help people transform their fitness journeys into tangible results. We utilize a 3D body scanner to provide trackable outcomes, along with tailored nutrition and workout plans available both in our studio and through our app. Together, we’re committed to empowering individuals to achieve their fitness goals and build a healthier lifestyle.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend were visiting for a week, I’d ensure they have an unforgettable experience filled with both adventure and relaxation. Here’s a little itinerary:
Arrival & Downtown Exploration
Morning: Welcome them with brunch at a trendy spot like Snooze, an A.M. Eatery.
Afternoon: Explore the vibrant streets of downtown, including the Denver Art Museum and the historic Union Station.
Evening: Dinner at a local favorite, like Mercantile Dining & Provision, followed by drinks at a rooftop bar like Linger for stunning city views.
Red Rocks
Morning: Start the day with a workout at Red Rocks Park. The stunning scenery makes for an inspiring backdrop.
Afternoon: After the workout, enjoy a lunch at downtown Morrison, then explore the Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
Evening: If there’s a concert that night, we’d grab dinner at The Hangar at Stanley Marketplace before heading to the show.
Vail Day Trip
Morning: Drive to Vail, stopping for breakfast at a cozy café along the way.
Afternoon: Spend the day walking around the shops in Vail Village, maybe take a scenic gondola ride for breathtaking views.
Evening: Dinner at one of Vail’s restaurants, like Elway’s, before heading back to Denver.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to dedicate this shoutout to my husband, Alex. He has been my steadfast support through so many experiences in life. Our communication is truly remarkable; he always welcomes my feelings and ideas without hesitation. Together, we have created a beautiful life, and I look forward to continuing this journey side by side.
