We had the good fortune of connecting with Leslie Beck and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Leslie, what do you attribute your success to?
There are so many components that go into creating a brand, but in the end it is the feeling and experience that for me, clients felt before, during and after the real estate transaction. The name of my brokerage, Lark Realty Group, was inspired by the Lark Bunting—a Colorado bird celebrated for its resilience and adaptability, embodying a spirit of individuality and perseverance. While I have built a business based on meaningful relationships and entirely on referrals, I have shifted to a focus on helping women navigate homeownership after divorce. I know firsthand how overwhelming and isolating it can feel to start over, especially when agents fail to provide the guidance and support that clients need most. This lived experience has shaped my approach, making empathy and client advocacy the cornerstones of my brand. What truly sets my brand apart is the holistic support I offer. I understand that buying a home after divorce isn’t just about a real estate transaction—it’s about rebuilding a life. That’s why I go beyond traditional real estate services by partnering with life coaches, financial advisors, and fashion stylists to ensure my clients feel empowered throughout the process. My mission is to ensure every woman feels confident, supported, and fully prepared to begin their next chapter with a fresh start in a new home.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My entrepreneurial journey started early—running lemonade stands at the age of six, where I offered pretzels to create thirsty customers and boost sales! While my path included two decades in corporate roles at a medical device company and a few small businesses (one that even ended in bankruptcy – causing shame, embarrassment and depression), those challenges taught me resilience and shaped the business I run today.
I found my true calling in real estate, inspired partly by my own experiences with subpar agents. After earning my real estate license in 2015 and later founding Lark Realty Group, I have discovered a deeper passion for helping women navigate homeownership post-divorce. Having gone through my own divorce and life transitions, I understand the emotional and practical challenges involved.
What sets my business apart is a holistic, compassionate approach tailored to women starting fresh after divorce. Beyond expert real estate services, I’ve partnered with life coaches, financial advisors, and fashion stylists to offer a well-rounded support system. My goal is to ensure every woman feels confident, empowered, and ready to step into their next chapter.
I’m proud that I’ve transformed past failures into valuable lessons, allowing me to help others rebuild and find success in new beginnings.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to thank the following people who have helped shaped where I am today: Kris Heinz, a friend and former manager from my sales position in the ’90s, she taught me to be different, look for ways to improve processes and always find solutions to problems. My soul sister, Serena Connelly, who has since passed away, but encouraged me to change career paths and go into real estate, because as she said I’m genuinely interested in people and love helping them. Finally, to my clients who have become friends, and encouraged me to continue to hone my craft and become the best real estate professional I can be.
