Meet Dusti Austin | Realtor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Dusti Austin and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Dusti, we’d love to start by asking you about lessons learned. Is there a lesson you can share with us?
Starting my own business has taught me invaluable lessons that go far beyond my career. One of the most important is resilience. Facing challenges is a non-negotiable part of building a business or starting something new. Pushing through, not taking it personally, and getting up to start each day with the same tenacity will bring about growth over time.

What should our readers know about your business?
As a Realtor, I have focused on two core values that set me and my business apart: a commitment to excellence and a genuine care for every client. I believe that buying or selling a home is much more than a transaction; I treat each client’s journey with the personalized attention and dedication it deserves. I believe that delivering exceptional service is only achieved when I truly go above and beyond to understand and meet each customer’s unique circumstances head on. My ability to listen, understand unique needs, and provide tailored solutions allows me to build lasting relationships based on trust and results.
Along the way, I have faced challenges, from navigating shifting market conditions to overcoming complex negotiations, but my persistence and focus on my client’s best interests have always guided me though. By staying adaptable, continuously learning, and maintaining my core values, I have not only achieved success but also helped my clients reach their real estate goals with confidence.
In addition to excellence with clients in a transaction, I value helping future clients gain insight into the market, the buying and selling process, and real estate goal setting. I host free monthly educational events designed to give a leg up to clients who may be looking at how to plan for their first home, all the way through clients that would like to diversify their investment portfolio. I love educating and helping shape your goals.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
When I have friends visit me in Colorado, I try to curate my suggestions to the person, but I have a few “go-to” experiences that almost always make the list. I love to suggest the mainstays of Denver:
-Red Rocks Amphitheater (park at the top if you’re just getting your lungs to altitude) for the views and to get an idea of the outdoor fitness mindset of Denver.
-Little Man Ice Cream downtown is a vibe. It has great ice cream and often has fun events like free swing dance lessons in the summer
-In Summer, try tubing on Clear Creek in Golden
Up for a day trip to the mountains?
-Hike Sapphire Point over Lake Dillon: big bang view with your short hike
-Visit the Breckenridge Troll
-Ride the Breckenridge Gondola to the base of Peak 7–Free views and operates year round

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Karin Kallander has been an incredible mentor and friend as I began my journey into real estate. Karin’s guidance, wisdom, and unwavering support have been invaluable every step of the way. From small insights to big accountability, she has helped build my confidence and push me to be what she knows I can be in this industry. Thank you, Karin, so much. I am truly grateful for the time and energy you’ve invested in me.
