Meet Tyler Bogart | DJ, Producer & Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tyler Bogart and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tyler, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
Taking risks in life is the single most difficult but life alter decision you can make. If you always stay in your comfort zone, you’ll never really know what could’ve been, what you might’ve achieved, or who you could’ve become. Taking risks forces you to step up and test yourself, especially when your back’s against the wall. That’s when you really find out what you’re made of, mentally and emotionally. I always told myself and others that id rather fail trying than live a life full of “what ifs.” Because those unanswered questions turn into regret, and a life filled with regret turns into a life of lack adn no sense of true purpose. When you choose to be comfortable and play life “safe”, you never get to test your spiritual side or test what type of person you truly are, and being comfortable, just going through the motions is not why we came to this earth. And that’s something I don’t want to carry.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Getting into music was always something I dreamed about, but never really thought I’d follow through on. As a competitive Division 1 athlete, I imagined life after college the same way most of my teammates did, working a 9-5, maybe playing pro on the side for fun, and grinding out the rest of the path laid in front of us.
But after a career-pausing injury, everything shifted. It gave me space to explore a different side of myself. The creative side I had always kept in the background. That’s when music started becoming more than just a hobby.
Almost ten years later, I’ve found a rhythm in life that blends art, growth, and joy. I’ve learned how to balance the chaos with creativity and discovered what it truly feels like to live in a state of happiness, fulfillment, and purpose.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If I had to recommend a spot in the city, I’d definitely say LoHi. It’s clean, lively, and packed with great bars, amazing food, and even better people to enjoy it all with.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’m incredibly grateful for the constant love and support my parents have given me throughout my life. No matter what path I chose or how uncertain things looked, they’ve always stood by me and encouraged me to keep going. That, along with my relationship with God and a growing connection to the spiritual side of life, has shaped the way I see the world.
Over time, I’ve learned that life isn’t about following the herd or just getting by, it’s about fully experiencing what it means to be human. The highs, the lows, the moments that challenge you and the ones that change you. It’s often in the darkest times that you discover the light, and with it, a deep sense of gratitude for being alive, for growing, to experience and for simply being.
