The How and Why Behind Success Stories

While it’s inspiring to read high level summaries of success stories, we think it’s just as important to learn about what drove the success and made it possible. We’ve asked some of the brightest folks we know to open up about what they believe was the most important factor behind their success.

I think there’s many important factors behind the success of Inward Fitness and the brand and even my own individual ventures in performance coaching and speaking. For this though, I’ll focus on one.
Many people and organizations have led with ‘what’ they do with a thought process of being about or selling ‘what’ their service or product does for someone. Some people and organizations have led with ‘how’ their service benefits others or ‘how’ their product solves a problem in the market. Read More>>

Perspective. I think so much of my success in photography is because of perspective. Photography is about showing the world through your own personal lens. Seeking unique perspectives that others haven’t seen helps draw them in and create a personal connection with your work. Im always looking for something new and fresh when Im out shooting and to show people common things in new ways. I often do this by marrying natural elements of the landscape (like flowers) with the night sky. Read More>>

Caring, simply caring is the most important thing we ever did. This is the framework of everything we do. When you care you want to improve, you align yourself with the client and want the same outcome. When you care you retain wonderful people and enjoy those that you care about. We care about our people, care about the customer experience, care about the quality of the final project. This also allows us to stay in our lane. Read More>>

I measure success for my business by the support, empathy, and accountability that I provide my clients. My clients come to me for my personal story and success, knowing that I took control of my own health helps them to find the confidence and motivation to take better care of themselves. Read More>>

Collaboration.
From the beginning, I have worked hard to create a network of practitioners that were like-minded and had the client’s best interests in mind. Health and fitness includes a huge scope from mental health, to injury prevention and recovery, to digestive health and nutrition, to hormone issues, and more. It is impossible for one person to be able to have the most up-to-date knowledge and methods for all of it. Building a network allows me to have experts I can call, text, or refer to when needed. Common Sense is not so common. Many people use the statement common sense but what they don’t realize is common sense is only common to people sharing a specific background. Making fitness make sense to a new client without any fitness background is what we do best. When you can turn fitness concepts into common sense then you have a client that can make decisions about their workout on the fly without supervision. They stop being injured in the gym and at home. that depends on what you define as success.. but for me it was just being myself n not letting conventional wisdom or formulas lead me. I haven’t done many things right, but one thing I have done right, is doing what I want to do. Making the music I want to make from the deepest part of my soul and folks pick up on that. Read More>>
