We had the good fortune of connecting with Cortez Holmes and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cortez, why did you pursue a creative career?
Well because I got tired of working a job I did love college I went to college actually for business so me as an artist I had pursued that also as a program for profit margin also I love being a creative person music it had brought out my choreography a little bit more and I had just ran with that I love expressing myself and many other ways and music is one of them I’ve worked with Drake Travis Scott future John music so I have worked with a lot of people going down this creative career and that’s something that I always wanted to be in entertainment and the industry

What should our readers know about your business?
Well my rap name is Setgok we turned that to a program which is a business on filed with the IRS we also have a website as artist name which is www.setgok.net we sell autographs for people that’s not able to get them due to me being busy as an artist we sell autographs to fans but they are free at venues but they are being sold on the website for those that cannot get those autographs we also hold an interview subscription we also have on the website where we upload our projects that we had did to show a fans and people that visit the website and also booking agents I had got this far also because like I said I went to college for business and that is something that your business need to have is a website so I would just say a lot of my mentors that was helping me along the way there’s another reason why I had got this far and I had overcame these challenges just knowing and the progress of what we was doing and the line of work that I was headed down some of the lessons I had learned also the way was how to you know make money through your business you know I have a business account that’s a link to my business so just learning about capital you know loans for businesses I never took one but you know just just understanding how we was going to make money how we was going to fund this things like that well one thing I would like the world to know is don’t never give up you know chase your dreams you know no matter what anybody is saying you know live that entrepreneur life I mean don’t let one thing in your life lead to everything going wrong you know if one thing in your life is going wrong then everything must be going right I learned that from my uncle Charles and yeah far as my brand your more welcome to book a session with me and we do have very big music opportunities for up and coming artists too because one thing I had also learned being selfish is not also going to get you anywhere so I like to do alot of give backs

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m if I had my friends visit Denver Colorado I would definitely take them out to Cherry Creek Mall I don’t stay that too far from there I would definitely take them out to eat I’m shopping as well and I was just I was just wonder you know I mean where they want to be at in life I will really make this day more about them than me and it’s not a cocky thing but knowing how far we got and is there anything that we can do for them like I said I have a lot of people in the entertainment and in the industry so you know we will be more focused on them you know where they want to be at in life you know because maybe they can move forward with us from that point on you know from you know them coming down there seeing us also you know to give them something in their mind to to know that you’re not alone you know they’re they’re there is still people out there that’s going to help you get to your entrepreneur opportunities

I like to give a shout out to my mom Laura Calhoun for birth at me I like to get a shout out to my family also Drake Travis Scott future a lot of people had played a big role on helping me further my career also want to thank my music engineer he pushed a lot of my music that’s now on TV very far and we just started so I mean we’ve been pretty successful since we had started this
