Meet Tionna Brown | Owner & Juicer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tionna Brown and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tionna, every day, we know how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
I came up with Sweet T’s Juices from my own personal and family experiences. 5 years ago I started juicing as a hobby and to help me get my health in check and I fell in love. Juicing helped my health in so many different ways I decided I wanted to share it with the world or whoever I could. Juicing is looked at as an expensive health craze when that is far from the truth. I wanted to show people that look like me and may not have the financial resources that juicing is something that is affordable and can also impact their health positively. The name itself is a representation of me. I am Sweet T and I make the juices. I truly believe that health is wealth and want to promote that to my peers and loved ones. Our bodies are our temples truly we only get one and we should treat it right.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
At Sweet T’s we believe that health is wealth and your body is your temple. Nourishing your body is nourishing your mind and soul. Being healthy does not have to be expensive or complicated. We strive to enhance the health and well-being of our customers by providing affordable, nutritious, and delicious juices. Our goal is to make healthy juices accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Often times people believe that being healthy is expensive. At Sweet T’s we want to provide juices accessible to all. I started off bartending and transitioned into juicing. I grew up around alcohol, drank alcohol a lot, and had addicts in my family. I have also lost people close to me due to alcoholism. I wanted to shift the narrative of what we know and are used to. Instead of killing ourselves, healing ourselves. I got to where I am today business wise by just not stopping.. There has been so many times I doubted myself and what I was doing and in the back on my mind I remembered what I was doing it for and it pushed me to keep going. I’ve learned alot of lessons along the way but one that sticks out that is reoccuring is being a life long student. Never get to a point of success or accomplishments and you think you got it all figured out. There is always room for growth and improvement. At Sweet T’s we strive to grow and improve everyday.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Food is a must in Colorado. If my friend didn’t know about green chili they will now. I would take them to Las Delicias my favorite Mexican restaurant, then we would head to downtown Denver then the mountains! In my view some of the most fun things we have to do are outdoors. We have a lot of unique places for examples Lakeside. One of the oldest amusement parks. Those type of things interest and excite me. I consider myself a lifetime student so anything I can learn from and involves fun I love checking out. Museums, Garden of the Gods. Activities that require movement always are a go for me.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My sister deserves a lot of recognition in my story. We started a mobile bartending service years ago together. From mobile bartending to juice bar! She started the fire in me of wanting to be a business woman. She is constantly pushing and motivating me to do better and supporting me however she can. Another shout out goes to Nicie, She is the owner of Wicked Ambitionz catering and I am able to learn from her and look up to her. She always offers love and support.
