We had the good fortune of connecting with Patricia Tafoya and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Patricia, can you share the most important lesson you’ve learned over the course of your career?
The most important lesson that owning my own business has taught me is to believe in yourself more than anyone. When you truly believe in yourself, you’re so magnetic. You develop a different relationship with yourself, a different level of self-love.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am a Reiki Master, Intuitive Guide, and Integrative Health Practitioner and I help people find their light again. I offer Reiki healings both in-person and distance. I specialize in emotional and spiritual healings. As a Reiki Master, I can sense blockages throughout your physical body and energy centers. I will help guide and offer you the tools that you can integrate into your healing journey taking it a step deeper. I am known for holding a safe space for others’ self-healing to take place and delivering messages that help bring clarity to one’s lives inching them closer towards a deeper self-healing. I think what sets me apart from others is that my unique journey and struggles have led me to this point. I feel that allows me to connect with people on a deeper empathic level. I am most proud of what my brand stands for which is self-healing through connection. I want the readers to know that energy work doesn’t have to be “scary” or “woo-hoo”. It is gentle but powerful, all you have to do is to be open to receive.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take them to Evergreen for lunch and a walk around Evergreen Lake or shopping at the cute shops. We would spend a lot of our time in the outdoors and enjoying the city and restaurants at night.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I dedicate my shout-out to my husband Antonio. He’s held a safe space for me throughout my journey of self-discovery and self-healing that has led me to my successes today both personal and professional. He did it with grace and patience. It allowed me to feel safe to explore and move through fear.
