Meet AJ Good | Content Creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with AJ Good and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi AJ, how does your business help the community?
I feel like there’s an unlimited amount of answers to this, but I’ll stick to two answers to keep it short and sweet. One of the answers is based on my perception, or how I view the purpose of my business at this point, and that is wishing I had “The House of Masks” growing up. If there was someone out there creating the content I create and educating people on the subject matter that I cover, I would’ve been over the moon. So I try to stay as true to my past self as I can, because I know I would’ve killed to have watched this type of thing when I was growing up.
The second answer is that I quite literally get comments and messages every single day saying that I get people through the rough times. Sometimes it’s literally that simple, other times I hear these detailed stories of all the bad things you can imagine, but these people thank me for helping them get through those times. To know I can make a positive impact on one persons life is humbling, but when you hear it as often as I do, it’s almost incomprehensible
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I think what sets me apart in my art is that The House of Masks covers so many different mediums that there’s always something new, along with a dozen other things going on. My resume doesn’t even seem real to me at this point. Under the House of Masks umbrella, I am everything from a videographer, editor, photographer, promoter, manager, designer, merch store owner/operator, mask maker, marketing guru, fine artist, concert promoter, musician, etc. the list just keeps going on. It’s always fresh, even if I’ve technically done it before. Keeps it exciting for the audience, but for me as well!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Oh I do this often. I’ve got an entire day planned out for my out can of guests, the “Chillicothe experience” as I like to call it. We start the day with donuts from Crispie Creme. That’s right, Crispie Creme with C’s, not the K’s… we have the real, original Crispie Creme, and it is hands down the greatest donut shop on planet earth. For lunch we get casa del taco, another local spot for the best Americanized Mexican food ever. And for dinner, Jerry’s pizza. I think this is getting pretty self explanatory, haha.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I guess I’ll be cliche and just thank everyone who’s supported this weird, made up dream job of mine. Family, friends, and fans alike. I couldn’t do it without the people who support it.
