We had the good fortune of connecting with Aj White and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Aj, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I pursued this career because of the volume of communities that I can help and interact with. My mission each day is to be able to help motivate or inspire at least one individual a day. So with this business I am able to reach individuals worldwide.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
The thing that makes me proud about what I am doing is that my platform is bringing love and encouragement back to the community especially during the times of COVID. Since I was little I always had a passion for helping others with originally wanting to be an orthopedic surgeon. It definitely was not an easy road but through the experiences that I have went through it’s made me who I am today. Some of the biggest lessons I have learned is that everyone is going to need some form of help in life. Don’t be scared to ask questions and network with others. I want the world to know that life is too short to be unhappy, no matter what stage you are at in life, smile, have fun, and continue to love one another.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Coming out to Frisco, Texas there are a bountiful amount of things to do. Places like The Star, Legacy West, a food place called Teriyaki Madness, or Fogo De Chao. We are also a short drive to Clyde Park and Deep Ellum which is in Dallas.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate this to my mother who continued to push me in any direction that I had a passion for. My mother, Jonita White, is an inspiration to many. My sister, Shemicka Buckles, is a big factor as well and now we both have a podcast coming out together.
