We had the good fortune of connecting with Alexander Spear and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alexander, looking back, what do you think was the most difficult decision you’ve had to make?
Taking a leap of faith for my business. There is a lot of unknown factors when you start your own business, especially in a comission only based industry. The decision to leave a comfortable job with benefits and embark on a journey to being my own boss ultimately stemmed from my desire to acheive financial and time freedom. The ability to make my own hours and structure my business the way I see fit is a dream come true and a reality that is still setting in. Although it often means working more and demanding more of myself than any boss I’ve had in the past, the reward of watching my business grow is unparalleled.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My business is dedicated to helping people finance or refinance a home with a level of care and attention that is unmatched in the real estate industry. Whether it’s a first-time homebuyer, an investor, or someone who has been through the process countless times, we focus on a hand-holding experience that takes the stress and uncertainty out of financing a home. I am where I am today because of process. Luck is great, hard work is necessary, but nothing breeds results and consistent goal attainment like a process. In building my business, I made it a non-negotiable to structure each day with prospecting and outreach to ensure my business was always growing. I want people to know that my brand is dedicated to providing the absolute best service in the industry and that our success is a refelction of the success we help our clients achieve. Watching a first-time homebuyer close on their dream home is what drives our company to grow and help more people.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

Wed: Breakfast at Snooze, Art museums off Santa Fe all morning, taco truck off Federal and a Matinee at Denver Center for Performing Arts. Dinner at Watercourse, lil veganism to combat last nights beef!

Thurs: Day drive up RMNP over the top to Grand Lake and then on to Hot Sulfur Springs to soak and spend the night

Fri: Down the mountain to the Georgetown Loop. Choo Choo, all aboard.

Weekend: Brunch around town, The Hornet, The District, Drag Bingo Hamburger Mary’s, then a show to cap it all off at Red Rocks.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to first thank T.J. Tassone Broker Owner at Tayton Capital. His wisdom, guidance and industry knowledge have paved the way for my success. I’d also like to thank my friends and family who have supported me along the way. Starting a business is a daunting task and the patience from my circle was uplifting. Finally, I owe most of my success to my incredible referral partners. Without them, my business would not flourish and my network would not provide what it does to my clients.
